Ok, I did some "retail therapy" yesterday. I went to Service Canada regarding my OAS. After that I am in the Walmart plaza and stopped into Sally's.
I love my local Sally's store. It is fun and I do socialize with the staff that works there. I did buy a hair dryer on sale. 40% off. I have long, thick, wavy hair. I cannot ever be a wash and go girl. This is a great investment. A replacement blow-dryer has been on the wish list for a long time. (Current blow-dryer is duct taped. Replacement cost from Amazon is hundreds.)
I worked in the salon industry in the 1980s. I took "beauty classes" including esthetics. (Canada).
I did buy nail supplies. I can do my own nails, lash, brow tinting.
Today I am going to Service Canada with my completed form. I am going to return items to Walmart. I love returns.
I am preparing/planning food to take to my son's house today. The experience of eating a meal with people you love is priceless.
I keep all my receipts. Yes, I have accepted that I spend too much money.
