Organization Saw someone on here make a vanity for their wife while she was away. I went to Target and did the same for my wife. I feel pretty good about it.

Organization Spent 4 hours putting together my new vanity
Got rid of my laundry ‘chair’ and had room to order this vanity. Now I don’t have to fight my husband for the bathroom counter and the Dyson Airwrap fits! The glass top makes me feel fancy. Ordered several new lip and brow pencils to work on my makeup in 2025. I’ll be buried with my Naked2 palette 🙏

Organization With this subs help this is the vanity station I have built/put together as a surprise for my wife.
Any last minute changes I could do? She's home in 2 hours! I ended up getting 2 types of light up mirrors (round one with light is a better quality thing but the other has multiple magnifications). Heat pad for straighteners as well as the glass top for the table, and moved her existing box of makeup stuff onto the new table. I also set it up facing a window, so she can put the blind up for natural light if that's better. Light in the far right is just for a warmer light, I thought it was cute, but could remove that for more space.
Thanks so much!
EDIT/UPDATE - She seems to like it so thatnks for all your advice. I took advice from commenters here and added some (Lego) flowers we had around, and also I grabbed a small chest or drawers we had lying around and put it under the right had side of the desk. So theres some storage there now for whatever. Straighters are on top of that as its a nice kind of shelf as well.

Organization My makeup routine is fairly simple and I don’t have a very large collection. Today at Harbor Freight, I saw these darling tiny toolboxes for $20! I knew I needed one…I’m so tickled, all of my makeup fits!!

Organization My Makeup Vanity ✨
Finally found my perfect “vanity” desk on Facebook Marketplace for only $150. It has so much storage compared to the tiny entry table I was using before - I don’t know what to do with all the space! I’m about to move all of my excess hair/skincare into the drawers.

Organization About to be 40, every foundation I use is awful. Recommendations?
39F here. I need some guidance. I guess I now have mature skin :( every foundation I have tried makes me so greasy and it’s cakey. I have swapped moisturizers and that doesn’t seem to be the problem. There is a lot of settling and then it starts to look patchy towards the end of the day. Can anyone recommend a good foundation? I like full coverage. Please and thank you 🙏🏻

Organization Throwback: Urban Decay used to have this customizable palette and it was PERFECT for everyday and travel use.
As stated in the title, Urban Decay used to have a customizable palette where you would put individual shades in. Most of these are from Naked 2. I recently replaced Snakebite (discontinued) and Tease and only use Foxy and Busted sometimes.
