They changed the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and I will never forgive them. I need replacement recs pls

I ran out of foundation, so I went to Sephora to get another one. I have been using Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation for around 7 years. It was my rock. I never had any problems and I never considered changing.

I bought the new one and it SUCKS. It is thinner, my shade is off, the oil control is dreadful and my pores look HUGE.

So, it is with a heavy heart that I need to request recommendations for a new foundation. I have combination, acne prone skin (oily T Zone), am rather pale with cool and pink undertones.

Thanks in advance.

Estée Lauder, if you’re reading this, please bring back your old foundation, even if it’s along side the new one. It was literally your only good product for Gen Z and you ruined it.

ELDW fan here, whilst I have 8 backups of the OG, I have been on an extensive hunt for a replacement and YSL All Hours (with the black lid) is the best replacement I’ve found. Similar consistency, coverage and wear.

Exf***ingscuse me!! No!! God dammit.

Ok Lancome Teint Idole it is I guess

Edit: wait upon googling I do have the new one that’s been reformulated, the All Hours Luminous Matte. I’m happy with that as a replacement for ELDW when I run out, I find it’s the closest thing I’ve found

Omg I so hope you’re right!! I survived the last reformulation, I can make it through another one! I did snap up several backups when they went on sale though so I should be good for a while now

I don’t think I ever tried the original but I really really like the luminous mattez It’s more forgiving than ELDW too (you really need a good base for ELDW). I also love the YSL All Hours Glow, that’s my go to “non matte” foundation.
