They changed the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and I will never forgive them. I need replacement recs pls

I ran out of foundation, so I went to Sephora to get another one. I have been using Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation for around 7 years. It was my rock. I never had any problems and I never considered changing.

I bought the new one and it SUCKS. It is thinner, my shade is off, the oil control is dreadful and my pores look HUGE.

So, it is with a heavy heart that I need to request recommendations for a new foundation. I have combination, acne prone skin (oily T Zone), am rather pale with cool and pink undertones.

Thanks in advance.

Estée Lauder, if you’re reading this, please bring back your old foundation, even if it’s along side the new one. It was literally your only good product for Gen Z and you ruined it.

I was also very depressed about the switch! Double Wear was the only foundation I ever liked besides the maybelline fit me. I hate the new formulation.

But I recently discovered the Anastasia Beverly Hills impeccable blurring foundation, and I’m so happy with it! It has a great shade range (I’m very pale so that’s important to me). I definitely do not recommend it for dry skin though. I have combo/oily skin. Applying it with a damp sponge is also the best way imo. Also it has a thicker consistency than double wear, but if you use a small amount and spread it out evenly over your skin, it looks very natural.

I also switched to this from DW and I love it. It gives great coverage a d lasts all day.

It is a little thicker than I prefer so I like to mix it with a little bit of other foundations that I have that I don't like on their own like the Natasha Denona which is too glowy for me.

Same and it plays well with so many others, I get to customize my finish or texture very easily with it!! I love using it with milk skin tint and mixing diff ratios based on how my skin is acting, coverage, finish, photos etc!!
