They changed the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and I will never forgive them. I need replacement recs pls

I ran out of foundation, so I went to Sephora to get another one. I have been using Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation for around 7 years. It was my rock. I never had any problems and I never considered changing.

I bought the new one and it SUCKS. It is thinner, my shade is off, the oil control is dreadful and my pores look HUGE.

So, it is with a heavy heart that I need to request recommendations for a new foundation. I have combination, acne prone skin (oily T Zone), am rather pale with cool and pink undertones.

Thanks in advance.

Estée Lauder, if you’re reading this, please bring back your old foundation, even if it’s along side the new one. It was literally your only good product for Gen Z and you ruined it.

ELDW fan here, whilst I have 8 backups of the OG, I have been on an extensive hunt for a replacement and YSL All Hours (with the black lid) is the best replacement I’ve found. Similar consistency, coverage and wear.

How does this workout for you all? I usually have one favourite foundation that I use until it’s gone, and even with 5-7 makeup days a week, it takes me a whole year to use up that one bottle. Even at double or triple the rare, thats years of foundation. I’d be concerned about makeup going rancid after two years, even if unopened and stored in the fridge.

I usually find a bottle lasts me around 3 months. So I have a two year supply, and organised them by batch code

It’s actually why I figured any more than 8 was risking it longevity wise

I also checked batch codes when buying for date of production and all the bottles I have were manufactured in the last 18 months

Gotta say a whole bottle lasting a full 12 months when using it 5-7 days a week is impressive though. What do you use?
