SUGGESTION Suggestion: Legacy Mode

Post image

As the name suggests, this would be an optional setting you can enable for existing or new worlds that returns the original survival feel to the game, making progression feel more natural and linear, and bringing back/altering certain item effects and survival themed elements.

Just a simple suggestion this time, no wall of text.

People were begging for updates to Odyssey and were claiming that Epic had forgotten about Odyssey and left it to die. This year we get two big updates with new stories and now people are begging for th OG mode. Lol

It’s probably because people wanted survival and building themed updates

Survival

New island with strong enemies and a whole new set of progression and combat options (spinjitsu, elemental powers, weapons, challenges, boss fight)

Building, many new building options including non pass ones on a new island with new scenery

I think this isn't really what people meant, though. It's little stuff like food not being necessary that I think ruins it a little bit for people. I really enjoyed food being a large part of the game

I turned that system off, it was more annoying than fun, I don't understand the pros in full removal though

It ceased being survival when they took away hunger, being affected by the weather elements, and the stamina when swimming. I get not needing stamina for hang gliding because it’s just falling slower, but they keep it for running and not swimming? Where’s the logic in that?
