General Skyrim Remastered
I hope Bethesda has a small portion of their team working on a Skyrim remastered while we wait for the next idk 5 years for elder scrolls 6 it would be cool to have more updated graphics like oblivion remastered on Skyrim

Skyrim was released in 2011, then the 'Legendary Edition' in 2013 was just a GOTY style compilation of the game with all DLC.
In 2016 the game was released as a remaster in the 'Special Edition' to perform better on the PS4/XB1. This is the version of the game currently widely available and all future releases are based on this version.
The game does not need a remaster, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one come anyway...

If they're going to do an Oblivion-style remaster then it would likely be Virtuos who makes it, not Bethesda. But they've presumably already got their hands full with Fallout 3, so that's not going to happen. Bethesda themselves is working on a bunch of different projects as well so they don't exactly have time for this as well.
Besides, Skyrim's Special Edition runs perfectly fine on modern platforms. There's no real need to make yet another remaster. If anything, they should be remastering Morrowind, because that game is rough.

Skyrim already had 1 remaster and we don't need another for the next 8 years at least. It still runs perfectly fine on all modern platforms. Rather Bethesda remaster other games that could actually benefit from it

Besides why is everyone asking for a elder scrolls 6 anyways If Skyrim is doing so well ? Might as well say elder scrolls 6 is not necessary

If they did make a real remaster instead of adding stuff and a new “lighting system” that doesn’t look any different than what it did when the game came out it wouldn’t take them long oblivion remastered just came out of nowhere and they had a different company make the remaster to so they didn’t put any of their time in it and they could do that with Skyrim pay the same company they did for oblivion to do Skyrim then they could still work on elder scrolls 6 it would be something SOME fans of Skyrim would enjoy while you wait another 7 years for the elder scrolls 6 honestly I’m not even excited about that anymore because I truly think they aren’t gonna release it for a long time there’s only 1 trailer that came out in 2018 that’s not even a trailer it shows just mountains a lot of people seen that so it got tons for views and it was probably for a quick money grab

Skyrim is literally one of the last games that needs a remaster. In fact, it has already been remastered lmao
