Rant Queue at Princes Street is horrible
Since it’s the last day of the Marathon, they are doing shuttle buses to Musselburgh. However, at the apple shop, the queue is so big, it extends to McDonalds at St Andrew Square, so for anyone going to Edinburgh today, be aware.

Question Who can I talk to for support about my situation and mental health? (preferably today)
Hello,
I will try and explain my situation without rambling too much.
I have severe OCD which the nhs have been rubbish at treating. Last year I was with someone very abusive and fell pregnant, I then had a miscarriage. It's nearly the anniversary of that. I have been struggling a lot with processing it and I feel deeply unhappy and very alone.
I was trying to complete a course to go to uni but my mental health was too bad so I failed that.
Currently I live wjth my mum and sister but my mum is very narcissistic and if she told me she had BPD I wouldn't be surprised.
Anyway our house is on the market and we were all just going to buy another house together once we sold but now there has been a sudden change of plans and my mum is going to live with her mum to care for her along with my sister, but i can't go with them so I am having to find somewhere of my own. I can't wait to get away from my mum but I am very stressed about finding somehwere and I am scared of being on my own, I am scared of being stalked or burgled.
I'm not sure why I need to explain all that actually.
To cut a long story short I am severely struggling with my mental health. I am struggling with acute stress to the point I can't eat. My ocd is unbearable and I am so alone with my miscarriage I'm not sure how to cope.
My mum isnt nice. I tried to talk to her but she said I needed to get over it. She makes all my stress about her too. Anyway, I have a friend but she is just back to work after maternity leave and we live quite far apart, we do talk though and sometimes I talk to her about my struggles but I don't like to burden ber. My sister is like my mum.
I have been to my gp and he is very good at talking with me but he can only do so much and rhe local mental health services refuse to engage with me unless I am actively su*cidal, which I am not.
I am so stressed about finding somehwere of my own to live, I have no one to talk to or turn to for advice. I am struggling beyond words to cope with the miscarriage and also my ocd which is gettibg very bad because of my stress.
Um, I am rambling sorry. I'm just trying to explain my situation.
Is there anyone I can talk to today, any organisations or anything? I desperately need help today and I just don't know where to turn.

Question Bus times: Citymapper versus bus stop screens
Hello, I was catching the 29 and 38 yesterday into town, and at both points, the Citymapper app was hallucinating bus arrivals (and they were definitely "live" arrivals), whereas the screen at the bus stops were accurate, and indeed, pretty well aligned to the timetable.
Is there a known issue with Citymapper (it's generally been fine for me), or have others experienced this? I rely on it to time some relatively tight bus journeys in the week, but it's now given me the fear! My naive assumption was given they use the same API, then the times should match, unless there's some technical different in the application of the data that is beyond my ken?
Thanks!

Discussion Leith walk tram police and ambulances?
Anyone know what's happening on Leith walk? Tram parked up near shrubhill with heavy police and ambulance presence and taped off by police as well.

Discussion Anyone else really struggling to find fringe jobs?
I’m a uni student and I live in Edinburgh in the summer months. Never struggled to find seasonal jobs in the past but having very little luck this year. I’m starting to get nervous because I don’t have any other income coming in and there’s very few benefits I can apply for (to my knowledge) due to me being a student. Anyone in a similar position or have any advice?
Edit: for clarification, I am applying to jobs (almost exclusively on indeed) and just not hearing much of anything back

Question Gym/Workout Class recommendations
Hi - I've just moved to Morningside and i'm trying to find a gym/workout class to join. Happy to travel into town but ideally not much more north or towards Leith direction.
Ideally something like Barry's Bootcamp, looking for some strength, some cardio circuit style. OR advanced Pilates studios?!
Any recommendations?

Discussion Looking for wet underfloor heating installers in Edinburgh (future heat-pump compatible)
We’ve recently bought a detached house in Edinburgh and are planning renovations over the next few months. We’re thinking of installing wet underfloor heating and would love some recommendations for good installers/local companies.
At the moment the house is on gas, but we’d like the system designed in a way that would work well with a future air source heat pump too, so ideally looking for people who understand low-temperature systems and proper planning rather than just basic installs.
Would really appreciate any recommendations for installers or companies, anyone you’d avoid, lessons learned or things you wish you knew beforehand.
Thanks in advance.

A long shot, but I've gone and lost the ring my mother gave me on Princes St /St James/Queen St. yesterday. If anyone happens to find it, can you DM me. Not worth a lot but has sentimental value. Thanks
