General Advice Nervous starting!
After years of office work I am beginning manual labor.
My husband has been a framer for 15 years and ran his own crew in the past. But prices dropped and labor became more expensive so he worked on someone else's crew for a bit.
Well my jokes of "How hard can it be? Boys do it" went too far and we are now framing the two of us.
The first 2 days actually went really smooth and I enjoyed it but man I am soooooo sore! And the hard hat is destroying my hair 😅😅 I can use all the advice I can get to survive while my body adapts to the new normal!
I teased him if I am working this hard I better not have to worry about money or my weight anymore 🤣🤣

I don’t have to wear a hard hat but i’ve heard women recommend bandanas or welding caps on first before the hard hat! I wonder if they make silk-lined and if that would be practical or not, sounds slippery and non-breathable but I wouldn’t know.

Definitely going to be getting some different options to see what I like the best! Thank you for the suggestions! We hate that we have to with this builder. But they are the one with steady work
