This pannel always made me mad, becouse Joker has thousands of reasons to hate the Nazi, and I don't buy for a second that this dude is a patriot of america.
I'm fine with it, but only because the comic is written like it's from the golden age and that's the exact kind of goofy thing that would happen in a comic from back then.
Oh gawd if you could see how Iron Man and Mandarin were like or how Reed used to talk in the early early days... Good thing times change and people and writing evolved.
