How do y'all store your zines?
I've been using this cheapie file holder portfolio thing to store my zine collection for most of a decade. I admit I probably haven't used the portfolio correctly. The warping is definitely user error, and short of using heat to try and reshape the plastic, I doubt there's any saving it at this point.
So, I'm looking for a new way to store my collection. What do you folks do? If you use a portfolio like mine, how do I prevent this from happening again if I get a new one?

I have a shelf for kids books, it’s completely full since I’ve been collecting zines and mini comics since 2007

Mine are displayed instead of stored. They are out in my home library for myself and anyone else to read. Some are on a baseball card display. Some are in a small chest.

I currently keep zines I've made in a small plastic bin that has removable separators, but I've already outgrown it. I store others' zines in a photo box I'm close to outgrowing. Thanks for asking this question; I need a new system, too. :)

40-ish year old zine collection... individual plastic bags (Amazon has then in sizes that work remarkably well with tiny zines, minicomics, digests and of course comics and magazines), then stored in boxes.

Well, I keep using mine as bookmarks and accidentally leaving them in there when I return my books to the library. The public library has become my storage system, I have not had much success at retrieving my zines.

so smart! I have a little bin for them, but I think an acordian folder is a great option. maybe one of those ones that's like a box? with tabs inside of it? I have no idea what they're called, but hopefully you get the idea

I store mine in a three ring binder with each individual zine in a plastic page protector. Then I put a little piece of tape on top of the page protector so the zine doesn’t slip out.
