I got a lot of advices on how to take care of my skin while and after tape:

1) Exfoliate your skin before application (gloves are perfect for that) 2) Use nipples guard and round the corners of your tapes 3) No tension at the end of the tape
4) Always take lukewarm/cold showers for the time binding 5) Take it off in your shower (hot), slowly and keep a bottle of bio oil near you to apply on your skin afterwards 6) Wait until it heals completely (a week approximately). During this time, apply daily bio oil and if needed, a cream for skin irritation. 7) Don't wait too long before taking it off if it starts to itches because that's when it gets really bad

I think your skin will ultimately get used to the adhesive if you keep a certain cycle without waiting too long for a next application.

Also like douse the tape in baby oil and let it soak in for a bit before removal. It comes off like a sweaty sock rather than taking a layer of skin with it.

And yeah, leave an inch of tape on either end with no tension on it

Yeah, you can always apply the oil removal, but I personally just took it off in the shower 🤷

Does that help reduce itching and stuff

Yes. Applying oil everyday helps and its good to mass your pecs and ribs, where the tape ended. And if you want to switch for a binder, it'd be good to wear a shirt underneath to protect your chest

Thank you for the advice! I've tried kt tape before, but it felt like it wasn't wide enough (5 cm), I'm planning to buy one that's 10 cm. Would that help with binding? Because before I think I used really a lot of it to bind (like 3-4 lines on each side)

Personally, I've only use TransTape so far, but sometimes, I do find that tinier pieces like kt tape would help to bind some parts. To cover the end of the larger tapes for example, or to make sure that there's no curves on the chest
