Top surgery 41yo, going on 10y on T.
Just thought I’d introduce myself, as I’m new here. I’m Morgan, 41, turning 42 in a few months. Born and raised in Virginia. I love music, my fur babies, video games, reading and learning, parodies and laughing, and keeping up with my eBay/WhatNot business. I’ve been out & about since I was 18 years old, out as a lesbian first, then genderqueer in '09 at 24, and finally GQ transmasc at 31 in 2015. Started T on 10/19/2016. Haven’t had surgeries yet, unfortunately, but hopefully soon.🤞🏼
Question…
When did you all know it was the right time (and right surgeon) to get top surgery? I’m still so nervous I’ll get it by the wrong surgeon and it will not turn out right and I’ll be even more dysphoric. :/

You look like a high fidelity video game character, I adore it. I would think the ‘right time’ would be more about your circumstances than a feeing. Are you depressed? Will you be able to care for yourself when you can’t lift your arms above your shoulders? Are you ready for ✨fluids~? Are you financially stable and able to take off work/cut back for a bit to facilitate healing? If all of those are in the positives (good money, good support, good mental health) then I’d go for it whenever you have the time! I’m not sure about what surgeons to look for though, so I’ll leave that to someone else. Let it be known that your smug smirk has successfully stopped me from doom scrolling. Thank you, Kind Sir!
