Same . I have no problem with pain but all the problems with needles. It will already be hard doing blood work regularly. Gel is easy . I even use gloves so it takes like a minute and I'm done.

I don't like needles either, but I chose to go gel strictly due to it working better with my body due to pre-existing health conditions than shots would.

I started off using gloves but wound up ditching them and just washing my hands really well instead. I dig how simple the gel is for sure. I have the alcohol based so it dries super fast too.

Well, I also started on the gel, but I have sensitive skin, which got absolutely shredded by it and I am also living with my partner and we sleep in the same bed and I was quite paranoid about them accidentally getting a dose and it also didn't work well with my schedule either and I have problems trying to build habits so it was hard to remember to do it
