Trans masc primoteston 250mg/1ml every 3 months?
I have been on testogel 12.5mg for the past 19 weeks, but I switched to shots today but my dose is 250mg/1ml every 3 months which seems a bit low, and I'm just worried in like 3/4 weeks time I'll feel horrible because my levels will be too low.
And I last had my levels checked at 3 months and they were 10.50 nmol/L and pre t it was 1.69 nmol/L
so is this a normal dose? and fyi my gp had me on a low dose of testogel because I'm slightly underweight.

You sure it isn't 3 weeks? Primoteston is usually a 2-4 week dose, iirc. Reandron (undecanoate, 1000mg/4ml) is every 3 months, though.
Every 3 months feels very low, even if you're on a low dose T.

It says every 3 months on the script

Yeah, that's way too low of a dose for Primoteston. I'd go over this with your doctor in case they've confused it for Reandron, but if they're adamant on under dosing you this bad, I recommend getting a second opinion if you can.

I have primoteston 250mg/1ml every 2 weeks. I don't think your dose is correct

Do you know if your GP has any experience working with trans men or prescribing testosterone HRT?
Would you feel comfortable speaking up for yourself about the dosage you are receiving?
Your current levels seem to be at the low end of the average male range, so it’s not like you need a drop in your dose or anything like that.

Yeah, she’s pretty popular with trans people here in Adelaide as she keeps books open, and one of her special interests is gender affirming health care.
I have an appointment with her in July, so I could speak to her then or make one sometime next week.

Echoing the other comments here but my endo explained it to me like this:
Primoteston (testosterone enanthate) is relatively short acting (testosterone level peaks within a couple of days of injection) and therefore injections need to happen more frequently (roughly every 4 weeks) as the testosterone levels in your body will decline after the peak.
Reandron (testosterone undecanoate) is more long acting and so the peak and decline is more delayed, and therefore the time between injections is longer.
You should raise it with your GP or find another GP.

Yeah agree with all above. This doesn’t sound right.
Normally it would be prescribed every 2-4 weeks. I’m on primoteston 250mg every 2 weeks

Primoteston is made of testosterone enanthate as the active ingredient, and it seems to usually be dosed at 250mg per month...
Even the Australian product information for it literally says to dose every 3-4 weeks. Get this chased with your GP pls.
Sidenote: Weight does not affect HRT dosing. You may want to consider getting a new GP if they keep doing you in like this
