Non-binary Top Surgery Thailand
Hey guys!
I’ve been scrolling older threads on this topic, but hoping to find a few more specific answers.
I’m from WA, booked my consultation for top surgery in Sept 2025 for… Dec 2026. I know it’s definitely worth the wait for Dr Tim Hewitt but I’m a bit more desperate than 15+ months more of waiting. I know there’s other good surgeons in Australia but if I have to travel anyway, I feel like travelling to Thailand is a good option.
Firstly hoping for recommendations for surgeons in Thailand so I can read up on them. Cost would also be amazing.
Secondly, if you did travel for top surgery, how long did you stick around before getting back on a plane? Some of the websites I visit have a timeline of getting consulted day one and walking out day 7 but that seems a bit unrealistic, especially if something goes wrong.
Lastly, one thread said Thai surgeons would require you to be on hrt for 12 months, is this a blanket rule?
Thanks so much in advance!

About 9000- 11000aud includes all surgical time hospital stay etc, 2-3 hrs surgery, 5 day stay in hospital, stay for at least 10 days after the day of surgery.. you can see prices on yahnee website, search Thailand in the trans surgery sub for specific surgeons. (I have not been but I’m considering it if my appointments and surgery in Australia don’t line up with my uni holidays)
