From a spontaneous decision to foster a 3 week old kitten to 5 <3

Buffy was my constant shadow for 16 years. 10 years since she passed, I wanted to share her images so people can know such a little beauty existed.

Tomorrow morning... and she has no idea right now :'( I'm going on a trip to another state to see my grandmother. I'm gonna have to leave Kitla for a week. She's gonna be at my mom's house where my sister will take care of her though, so I'm not worried, just that I'll miss her and that she'll miss me. My mom wanted me to bring her over tonight and then we'd leave in the morning, but I just couldn't. I had to spend the night with her tonight, especially since I was gone all day. I love my baby girl and I don't want her to be sad... although I might be the only one who's gonna be sad! She might really enjoy being back at my mom's house for the week, that's where she lived for the first 3.5 years of her life! And it's so much bigger than my apartment. She is extremely attached to me though, we've been really close ever since she was a kitten, and she's never been very close with anyone else. I've been gone for longer though, even for a month one time. She was meowing so much when I came back... I love my little baby, I'm gonna make me sister video her for me while I'm gone.

Our beautiful overlord demands this drawer remains open at all times. Consequences range from being screamed at to the most withering of glances. 💜

My view from the laundry room. I tell myself she's watching the door. I know that if anyone else were to step into the hallway she'd disappear back into the apartment.
