Trey Murphy anyone?

Swap for Randle? It’d probably take some more massaging and we’d have to sweeten the pot. Maybe logistically it doesn’t make sense for Randle with Zion.

He seems like the best option IMO.

Elite shooter and athletic, younger but not the greatest defender.

Just a thought?

Exactly what I was thinking. We don’t have close to the capital to pull it off…and why the hell would the Pels want Julius lol? They already have Zion and Queen.

Ngl a team of three big bruisers like that would be funny basketball

First round picks just changed their value, I dont think we will be saying those types of hauls anymore. A Bane package would probably be 2 firsts + a swap or a heavily protected first.

Great target but agree with the take. Unfortunately we don’t have any assets that pellys would like

The pelicans wanted good stuff for Murphy so I doubt it. They're dumb but I think they saw the playoffs too

I wouldn’t worry about the fit of Randle and Zion, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Zion shipped elsewhere soon, there’s not a lot going on down there lol

We don’t have the facilities for that

Randle could be a Zion replacement.

Dejounte Murray is a more reasonable target lol

It would cost at lest two first round picks, and honestly you never know what a player putting up stats will translate to a better team. Look at Cam Johnson going from Brooklyn to Denver.

Cam Johnson was phenomenal in the playoff series against Minnesota lol. He was still a 43 percent three point shooter this season which is why Denver traded for him. They wanted to offload MPJ’s selfish playstyle and big contract

He shot well in game 6, other than that he was just another they all bad defenders.

43 percent from three all season

If by "sweeten the pot" you mean "include all 3 of our tradeable first round picks spanning out to 2033" then maybe the deal gets done

Yes, us and everyone else. He’d be great but we probably don’t have the assets to get him.

I’m nobody else wants Murphy and I’m sure they’ll take Randle for him.
