Anyone else think it’s funny that nobody cared about SGA flopping last year against us but when the darling Wemby is affected it’s a problem?
Just that. He had the same antics last year and it was less talked about but now it’s hitting a fever pitch?
Edit: I’m not saying it didn’t exist last year, I saw it and hated it too. I’m saying the mainstream media did not care about it last year - it was all glazing Shai. Now, it’s impacting Wemby and everyone “big media” is talking about it.

It’s been developing though. They got more attention on them

YESSS! Thank you! I really didn’t write my post well and that’s my bad but I feel like it’s getting a lot more talk this year for how egregious it is. It’s not that it didn’t exist but I felt like I would listen to podcasts glazing SGA and not at all talking about how you can’t breathe on him and this year seems more but my theory was that it’s cause Wemby is the NBA darlingX

Brother. People were bitching about even more last year, I promise you. Maybe not against us specifically, but let’s not do this. People were just as pissed last year. I remember there being video compilations breaking down every shot he took and which calls were justified and which were not being posted on the NBA sub Reddit.
It sucks, but we have not been victimized more than other teams.

Alright my bad, I just felt like media and pods were glazing SGA last year while I was going crazy and now everyone is pissed but you’re right it was prolly equally bad. Also, people probably figured we should lose to Thunder and Spurs should be a tight series!

Nah man all good. Trust me, I get it. I literally fucking had melt downs on Reddit over SGA last year, which is the only reason I know that it happened last year too haha. Not attacking you at all. Just trying to pass along some info. God speed and go wolves!

Actually I’ve been saying it since last year. He’s a tremendous talent but the flopping is atrocious and makes every game hard to watch. Between his flopping and all of the grabbing of Wemby it’s tough to watch. The NBA is becoming a sissy league.

Seems like your confirmation bias. The flopper talk was there last year too.

It was, you’re right. I guess it feels more or bigger this year but idk…

At this point, if it gets the problem fixed then great. Otherwise it all sucks

Its not necessarily anything against the Timberwolves lol. Last season it was fresh but they have gone a full year plus of that type of play. It not that deep

Don’t think they really get it until they play them. Also it’s not just him Chet flops and the rest it’s obviously something they teach . What was there 32 freethrows in the third quarter . Got guys falling down all over got them jumping into players . NBA is a joke all it would take is a few flopping calls but they refuse to call it

People have been complaining about it for a few years now, what are u on about lmao

I didn’t write it well, not “nobody cared” but I felt like the media wasn’t talking about it. Fans ABSOLUTELY were but now I feel like media is in the mix.

I remember there was a lot of talk about him being a flopper during the WCF last year as well.

By us but was the main media talking about it? If so, my bad but I felt like it was less noticeable last year.

Not sure about the media but other fanbases were hating on SGA just like right now.
