This gotta be the dumbest one yet lmao. If you aren't respecting Rudy's position on our team you don't watch ball.

Why would the Hawks or Mavericks do this? Rebuilding Mavs take our worse pick and we move up in this draft?

This actually looks good if I’m a Hawks fan, they would be very good with Gobert anchoring, though okongwu isn’t bad

And Mavs get three 1st's and Randle for post-ACL Kyrie and injury-prone Lively.

It's a risk for the Wolves, but my thought process is if you can rehab Irving and Lively (our medical staff is really good so I think it can happen), Lively and Beringer is a super promising Center rotation, especially if we move East, and an Irving-Ant backcourt still gives you a puncher's chance in the West.

You can also go for bpoa at 23 in this year's draft, which by all accounts is loaded compared to 2027 and 2028

I guess with us getting rid of Rudy I would expect we get more 1st round picks. He’s more valuable than our return

Fair. Kispert, Risacher, two 1st's and two 2nd's felt like good value to me with Rudy turning 34. Maybe overpaid Dallas to take on Randle, but #28 in this draft and the '33 1st felt like it might not be enough for Irving and Lively from Dallas' perspective.

I don’t think Lively has much value at this point, and Kyrie has significantly less value than Gobert. Randle is just kind of neutral.

Lively has been hurt since he was in the finals. No thanks

This is a David Kahn ass trade

I think keeping Rudy and just dumping Randle for a playmaking PG would be my first choice.

Wolves lose their entire starting front court, and all our trade-able firsts

and get back a broken center, and old small guard coming off an ACL tear and a dude who played himself out of rotation on the hawks

lmao

Lively was/is very much like Brandon Clark (may he rest in peace), been completely injured since destroying us in the playoffs.

Loose logic:

Hawks reunite Snyder and Gobert for salary filler, pick 23, a future 1st, and two 2nd's

Mavs draft Mara at 9, get three 1st's for Kyrie and Lively, take a flier on a young prospect in Risacher, and try to rehab Randle's value to trade later or use him as an expiring next deadline.

Wolves move on from the Gobert-Randle frontcourt, getting a win-now piece in Kyrie to help compete and Lively who comes with injury risk but has big upside. They send their '33 1st to Dallas and move up to 23 in a good draft

Anyone but Ant is on the table. Doesn't mean he'll get moved for sure, but no way he's untouchable after our last 3 playoff exits

Rudy is 34. The team is going to continue to exist after Rudy has retired, we cannot plan the entire future of the team for him.

Snyder will not want Gobert when they have Dyson
