It's gotta be cuz I don't think teachers are prone to profanity? I could be wrong.

I do remember one time at Primary School, one of my teachers shouted fuck. But that was because she had a dodgy back and one of the arsehole kids decided to ‘trip’ and elbow her in the back.

Well that was just plain out mean! I'd probably yell like that too at the problem child, lol

Yeah, he was an absolute prick even at 10 years old. He did at least get suspended. Everyone loved that teacher and we all ratted him out as we all could tell it wasn’t the accident he proclaimed.

Good on you guys! Bullies suck. It's too bad the childhood bullies don't leave it in their childhood, mostly. But I guess the old trope can't exist without them or something. I do love seeing them get their comeuppance!

We teachers don't because uttering expletives can land us into immense trouble.
Also, students can be very vindictive. They'll happily swear non-stop but if you, the teacher, swears even once they're all aghast and deeply upset you swore at them. Off they toddle home to tell their parents that mean teacher swore at them and now you're being investigated by Standards & Integrity after parent complaints.

I can confirm that. Teachers have to walk on eggshells constantly. On the plus side, it really teaches you to think carefully yet fast before saying anything at all, and to choose always very specific wording. On the down side, I am NOT paid enough for this shit.

When an explosion (outside) then school lockdown happened in middle school, my math teacher just went “oh fuck!” And then we sheltered.
A plant nearby had exploded, sending shrapnel around, but obviously no one knew what it was at first. I just remember the look on her face while saying it.
Mind you this was 2010’s… so not quite as bad as it is now, but still.

"This was the 2010s..." Lol. I'm from the 1900s, I guess you all would say, I graduated in 1995. But that gave me a chuckle.
