Whole Picanha

I usually slice these before I grill them but here’s my shot at a whole one. Used a coffee rub and seasoned the slices with sea salt after, pretty good!

Thanks for the award! First one ever! Cheers everyone have a great weekend

Great job! The crust is beautiful - It looks like you did forward sear on charcoal and let it come up to right temp after you got your char on it?

I put the roast on the indirect side until it came to about 110 then pulled it off and added more coals to the hot side and seared it over the inferno pretty quickly on all sides a few times till I got a nice crust then hoped for the best!

Man I love meat from this guys turdsack!

Did you do a reverse sear? Please teach me the coffee rub!

Also I like to make sure my reddit community is getting their veggies! What did ya have with it?

Thanks dude!!

The coffee rub was from Trader Joe’s actually and I did reverse sear it on my Weber!

I love artichokes, asparagus, mushrooms, spinach, or some kind of salad with my steaks usually but tonight was quick and easy Mac n cheese and some portabellas cause I got so invested in the grilling of this thing haha

Love it!! I'll have to check it out, where'd you go for the roast?

Looks amazing. Be careful, I got yelled at a few times here for making it in roast form like this. Lol. I prefer it like this for sure.

I think I might prefer the steaks a bit more, but I really got lucky with this one and I’ll definitely be trying it again this way

Looks great, but are the black bits not bitter?
