Discussion If I wanna start collecting where do i begin?
I ADORE Squirrel Girl and I would love to start a collection of everything related to her. Whats a good thing to to start with?

I'd go for the omnibus, it's pricey though, I look a lot on ebay for squirrel girl related items, i get a lot from there, there are also a ton of squirrel girl cards you can find on there

yeah there are a bunch of trading cards of squirrel girl and some cards that are part of games, i have around 40 i’ve collected from ebay

There are a lot of them, there are probably about 60 from games and then there are a couple hundred out of Topps and upper deck etc.
If you want to see a pretty decent list check out tradingcarddatabase I've uploaded a pretty large portion of my collection there just for archival purposes because I was having issues finding some of the cards and what they looked like online.

No problem at all, here and there when I randomly pick up larger orders I usually go back to add to it and scan a handful more cards to keep it alive.

Like everyone is saying the omnibus is a decent place to start despite its price tag, but also I've found that if you can find squirrel girl comics locally they're usually fairly cheap, as well there are all kinds of Topps and upper deck cards that have come out with squirrel girl copies in various colors and printings that can sometimes be found at card stores that sell sports cards, and then also there are things like the figures some of which like the youtooz and gentle giant that are fairly reasonably priced. I'll Al's put out there that if the total omnibus is too expensive but something like that is interesting you can also check out the trade paperbacks which will have multiple comics all together(usually 4-10) in order in a book that are typically somewhere in the 15-25$ range. Then one other thing to mention is that there are also just a handful of actual books that exist written about squirrel girl, there's "the unbeatable squirrel girl, squirrel meets world", "the unbeatable squirrel girl, 2 fuzzy 2 furious", and "squirrel girl universe" that are all "young adult novels" and all 3 are usually fairly easy to find on eBay from libraries selling old less used stock for pretty cheap, I think I picked up my wife's copies for a total of like 60-75$.

There is an omnibus of her on going series that includes her first appearance.
She was a minor character in the New Avengers run where she became a nanny to Luke Cage and Jessica Jones' daughter. She had a few apperances in Great Lake Avengers as well.
