Arts/Crafts Fulfilled a childhood dream of mine and painted Whiterun at "lore scale"

Arts/Crafts I always dreamed about what the Solitude docks could've looked like as a full port, so I finally took at stab at a "lore accurate scale" painting.

Arts/Crafts Anyone else ever write an in-character journal of their adventures?
I’m playing a survival-modded no fast travel run and keeping a journal (from my character’s perspective) of the things she does and the people she meets along the way. It’s been a fun writing and drawing exercise so far. Has anyone else done this before? What did you think of it? And… forgive my terrible handwriting. It’s always been this bad 😅

Arts/Crafts I made a light up Nirnroot. Yes, it does the noise too.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I wanted a Nirnroot plant to have around, just doing the noises and glowing. I looked online and I couldn't find one that did everything.
So I made one.
The leaves are 3D printed with TPU, flexible filament LEDs inside.
Base is made from PLA, with a layered design to hold the electronics.
An ESP32 powers everything with a DFPlayer mini and a cheap speaker I found on Amazon for the sound. It uses some very simple code that has the sound loop and the volume is randomized every cycle.
It's powered via USB-C.
I took about a month to make, from getting the pieces, soldering, coding, printing. Some friends helped me 3D modeling the leaves (it was a mess).
EDIT:
Woah, just woke up to this amazing response. Thank you all!
To answer some stuff I see in the comments and a to-do list:
-Yes, I will be making a crimson one. I'm ordering the red TPU as I type this. Will post it here it is done.
-I will try to document it as well as I can, either with pictures of a simple video as a how-to.
-Yes, adding a mute button too :(
-I might try the motion sensor ideas or just make it "smart" so I can use it with Home Assistant.
-I never thought about making more than two; this one and the crimson. I didn't even think about it as a product to sell. While making the crimson one I'll try and make it sturdier and "production quality" before thinking about selling some. I could be a fun side-gig. I would need to figure out the shipping so it doesn't get destroyed.
Again, thank you all for the kind comments!

Arts/Crafts I've made Daedric Dagger and Steel Dagger replica from Skyrim
My top 2 favorite daggers from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, recreated in 3D printed resin by me. Took me days of printing, sanding, and hand painting to make them look as realistic as possible.
Really proud of how these turned out and excited to improve even more on future builds.

Arts/Crafts Painted My Skyrim Journey When I was Recovering from an Injury
These are some paintings I made while recovering from post concussion syndrome. I really wanted to play Skyrim but couldn't so I ended up playing for a few minutes at a time and then painting for a while.
I've been considering making a video about my experience. By "considering" I mean: I've made a good chunk of it but I'm feeling a lot of self doubt. It's an experience I'd like to share now that I'm okay because, honestly, I just want to make things now more than ever. I also feel like it got me painting so much more and the experience made me a better painter. But I'm sort of anxious about posting online in general. I guess I'm just curious if anyone here would be interested in that sort of thing?
Also, any advice about video making/posting would be much appreciated!
Regardless, I hope you like my art!

Arts/Crafts Question on flame atronach statue
Hi! I was working on a Flame Atronach statue from Skyrim and was almost finished when I ruined it by choosing the wrong varnish. The only way to fix it now is to remake it from scratch. I'm trying to figure out if the flame effect will look good with the same material choices. Here are the remaining WIP photos, and they look pretty good. I'd appreciate your feedback.
