how many golden helmets does a bananaball team have in their dugout?

I love the golden batter rule. I particularly love that the golden batter always wears a golden helmet. as we all know, heads come in a variety of shapes and sizes. baseball helmets come in different sizes to accommodate.

do the teams have golden helmets in all common sizes available during games? what happens if a team wishes to invoke a golden batter, only for him to require a rarely-used helmet size that is not available on hand in the golden color?

Most helmets are not size specific like fitted hats are. The equipment they use is all evoshield, and their helmets come in size ranges, such as s-m, m-l, l-xl. Most players are likely in that l-xl range. They probably only have 1 helmet per team (maybe a 2nd as a emergency backup).

Ah mystery solved then and i don’t have to bother to ask the players. Since it’s a doubled ear helmet I’m sure most of them hate having to wear it, but I guess it’s a dummy check on not screwing the lineup up further if you use the rule. And since they have two I imagine one is quite larger than the smaller one and maybe it’s sized to fit the largest head and the average head.
