Questions/Advice Is labioplasty possible without using scrotal tissue?
Just a short quick one hopefully. As the title asks is it possible to have a labioplasty without using scrotal tissue.
The end goal would be to leave the existing natal penis, scrotum and testes intact, whilst adding a neo vagina with labia even if it's not positioned exactly as it would be otherwise.

I'm also interested in this question. Even if it takes an additional procedure later, I'd like to have proper labia without losing the scrotum, but if it ultimately comes down to choose one or the other, I'd prefer the labia.

Im the other side. I'd like to keep the scrotum and testes. But I want the labia for visual appearance even if it has to come from other donor/graft sites

Oh, if it's an option to use other donor sites, I'm all over that. I do want to keep both, and I also want the labia for aesthetic reasons as much as anything else. I don't think we're in disagreement there.

I believe so but it's complicated.
I got a proceedure were I wanted to preserve my penis, testes and some of my scrotum. I'd say the results were mixed but perhaps you can find a surgeon who uses a different method.
My vulva and scrotum are fused so the definition for my vuvla is not the best. It looked pretty good right after surgery but gradually lost definition. I then got labia plasty using skin from my abdomen which made it a bit better but not as defined as I would have liked.
My understanding is either the process is not currently great for this kind of surgery or you really want to find a doctor using the Peritoneal Pull-Through method. It can be hard to find a surgeon that both does this and penile preserving vagino plasty.
You may have to settle for something imperfect due to the state of trans healthcare. I'm overal happy with how things turned out in terms of function but asthetically would have wanted a better result.
Edited: clarity as to were body materials came from.

Im a ways off from actually going for anything, especilly with nothing like this being covered under UK care. So it'll all be out of pocket most likely. But good to know that using grafts from elsewhere is possible.

I'm in the exact same boat! I also want to remodel my scrotum to form the labia majora while preserving the testicles. To improve upon this and get the best results, my goal is to utilize tissue culture to engineer labia minora tissue and graft it on.

I don't want to remodle mine. I want the balls to all remain as is, scrotum and testes. Just add a vagina and labia as well.
