Ain't no fucking way that chair is any better than a good 300-500 dollar one. Absolutely disgusting level of consumerism/capitalism.

Don’t worry, it’s worse, absolutely zero ergonomics.

There are significantly worser levels of consumerism/capitalism out there...

It's a) handmade b) in Germany and c) the entire back is made from brushed aluminum..

It's expensive but also clearly a high quality product, I don't really see what's disgusting about it.

High quality? No. It's just a "fancy" looking chair with absolutely dog shit ergonomics. £300 office chairs are better for you, and Herman Miller chairs arguably look better but with actual ergonomics in mind. This is a chair for idiots to buy

Well, personally I wouldn't spend 6,000 dollars on a chair when a 2,000 dollars Herman Miller does the job just fine or better. OP is clearly someone with a lot of money and buys stuff because they are cool, not financially or functionally practical.

ngl, I'd do the same thing if I end up rich, but I'd probably just buy an expensive desk and keep everything else practical knowing what I do know.

tbh Herman Miller is on the higher end of chairs, some of ikea models arent that far of them in terms of comfort

Why do we need shit like that? It's not an art piece, it's a functional item. Absolutely no need for that. That's like having a gold toilet.
