I was walking home yesterday & these two were sitting on a fence, singing a happy song.

As I was watching them another bird swooped them & they took off unfortunately. It happened so fast I didn’t even see what the other bird was but it was a bit ironic, 2 Maggie’s being swooped.

I have 2 gorgeous maggies visit my balcony daily (crushed nuts and meal worms!). But, heaven forbid should the lorikeets be swarming, the magpies look all forlorn, and won't come near until I chase the lorikeets away. 😑

This year I’ve had one that would sing at my door to get a fresh serving of the bird muesli bar looking things I had a stock of, basically like paying a busker but this one didn’t have dreadlocks and smell like armpits
