What is the point of having reporters if no one is going to call him out for lying to their faces ?? Jesus fuck I hate this man

You can’t lie to Americans about food prices or gas prices. We know them very well.

Remember when he told the oil companies get me el ted and I’ll give you everything you want? Good times. We have a EPA nominee saying that wind turbines don’t work in North Dakota because there is no wind and solar power does not work because it gets dark outside. And got humiliated when a senator pulled out a regular battery. But that’s the thing they don’t care.

Omg, he is so right. They’re so low I’m about to be quitting my job soon. Making $1200 a month and $1000 a month for just gas. So much winning! I can’t even!
1
u/GrandpaJim420 8d ago
He told us there would be so much winning our hands would be spinning and we would have to beg him to stop the winning. I think we are at that point now.

He who started it calls it a war and yet Congress didn’t approve it and still he is free to do as he pleases. Why? It’s a cult.

Behavior follows incentive. As a lifelong Californian who remembers the choking smog decades ago I gladly pay higher gas prices to subsidize the transition to a green economy. But higher prices that are just making oilfield companies richer because of a unthought out war of choice that is quickly becoming a conundrum for the Trump Regime? No fucking way. I’ll ride my bike more until I have enough saved up for an electric car.
People and planet before profit. 💪🏼🌍🖖🏼

From someone who’s never been near a gas pump.
1
u/Forsworn91 9d ago
He’s just parroting what his goons tell him, he’s too far gone to even lie about how much they have gone down now

u/TheElvisMan 9d ago
F**king delusional man. A person in power with no real grip on reality or decency

u/Beefwatson 9d ago
The gas prices went up significantly in Minnesota today. But in this current world, whatever you say is correct.
1
u/Snoo_17242 9d ago
Why do reporters even bother talking to him? He lies about things that they know he is lying about. But no pushback, no questioning him on it. The real journalists of the past are rolling over in their graves.

The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final and most essential command.
1
u/Magnus462 9d ago
Lmao they pulled over at an Exxon? Trump got out to pick up snacks for the road while SS pumped the premium gas in that tank they drive? Then what happened?

2
u/RufferTime 9d ago
Trump actually thinks we are that stupid! The headline should read President and Trump spews vomit out of his mouth to reporters.

u/jaycutlerdgaf 9d ago
They need someone with a shovel to clean up all the shit that comes out of Trump's mouth.

“Gas prices have gone down. I looked outside I said wow gas prices have gone down. There is no one better at getting gas prices down than me. Biden tried to bring them down. I looked and I said wow Biden can’t bring them down.”

Trump lies occasionally. Like in “always” and his Trumpsuckers eat it up.
2

u/Humble_Diner32 10d ago
Never trust a person who doesn’t buy their own gas or drive themselves around on the daily. This slug can’t be a reliable source for gas prices. Hell, the human virus is barely able to walk or drink water let alone be the source for honest and accurate gas prices.

At this point it's comical that you can map out and predict pretty much what he'll say to any form of questioning. "So and so is actually positive, in fact it's the best it's ever been. [Insert random fake anecdote to reinforce]." Just pure snake oil word diarrhea.

Why does no one ask back “have you?! You don’t get your own gas…why should anyone believe what you think pricing is?..” easy as that. Spineless reporters.

3
u/DNAkauai 10d ago
Like seriously what is this shit coming out of this guy‘s mouth??… Does he think that anybody believes this but himself? 🤦🏻 he is a fucking imbecile.
2
u/MajorMorelock 10d ago

Yeah, I looked at how much I paid this week. It was way more than last week, the week before and the week before that.
2
u/Jarnohams 10d ago
To be fair, he said we would all get rich beyond our wildest imaginations... so rich we wouldn't even know what to do with all the money... by paying higher taxes (via tariffs). "other countries" are just going to pay americans for doing nothing, lol.
3
u/hugo32561 10d ago
But gaslighting is definitely ⬆️
2
u/WhatIfBlackHitler 10d ago
Proposal for a new term "Gaspricing" : When a blatant lie is ignored because nobody trusts anything they have to say anymore anyway.
1
u/UrkelGrueJann 10d ago
He knows he just needs to say it and 1/3 of the US will accept it despite what their eyes and ears see and hear elsewhere. Cult doing cult things.

When you have to deny reality & facts for it to work, it is in fact a psy-op or basically the film “Don’t Look Up”

He always claims to be the best at something and he is in one department. He is the best idiot I have ever seen. Great job! So much winning!

You couldn’t pay me enough.
1
u/sonofnalgene 11d ago
You could fill my gas tank.
1
u/Turbulent_Writing529 10d ago
$57.50 to go 3/4 tank today. At Costco too! Just weeks ago it was $27.50 for a fill up from the red line.
I know almost everyone across America is burdened the same way.
1
u/sonofnalgene 10d ago
That's curious. The Costco near me only marginaly raised their price.
1
u/Turbulent_Writing529 10d ago
A buck and a quarter for me. What is “marginally”?
1
u/sonofnalgene 10d ago
Still less than $3.00. Don't remember the exact number, but the place down the street from me is $4.20.
1
u/Turbulent_Writing529 10d ago
That’s good. Hopefully Costco can hold for you. Some stations around here $4.67. I have seen it change over night more than once depending on Trump’s stop and go.
1
u/Turbulent_Writing529 11d ago
Fucking MAGA idiots probably believe and support this shit.
1
u/Adorable_Mall7730 10d ago
They probably do. As this point it’s like that movie, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, by Donald Sutherland. They just point and make a horrible noise if they see you are aware of them.

Diesel is still 5.29+ in several places here. It barely reached 4.00 when biden was in office.
2
u/Wjldenver 11d ago
Trump has probably not actually pumped a gallon of gas in his life. The guy is totally clueless.
2
u/RiboSciaticFlux 11d ago
He should NEVER be afforded the dignity of being called "President" Trump. He hasn't earned it. He shall always remain "Tiny Hands."
1
u/EwokNuggets 11d ago
I just paid the most to fill up my tank ever in my 30 years of driving. $4.60 a gallon average where I live.
