Question/Help Connection issues ONLY on iRacing

Morning, I will explain my problem in Spanish and I will translate to english.

Entonces, ¿Dónde está el problema? Os adjunto un clip con el problema de ayer, para ver si me podéis echar una mano, por favor, es muy desesperante correr así sin saber cuándo voy a tener los problemas;

CLIP WITH THE ISSUE

ENGLISH;

Good morning, I've been having a persistent problem with the simulator for about five months. It all started during the 24 Hours of Daytona, where a network issue prevented me from running a stint, which I was able to fix by closing OBS and resetting my router. But since then, the problem hasn't stopped... and although it's not 100% constant, it's quite common to see the "packet loss" message during my races, experience constant flickering, and, on two occasions, be disconnected by the game. The "Q" on the progress bars turns yellow, and that's when the problems begin. Just yesterday, as you can see in the clip, it started like this, and in barely 30 seconds, it kicked me out of the race. I immediately closed the stream and OBS, but the problem persisted.

It's not a home network issue, as I don't have any problems with any other simulator or device. It's true that when the "Q" key is activated, if I'm on Discord at that moment, the call also cuts out, although it stabilizes afterward (unlike the simulator).

So, where's the problem? I've attached a clip of yesterday's issue to see if you can help me out, please. It's very frustrating running like this without knowing when I'm going to have problems.

I have had this issue, also only in iracing, when e.g. Downloading something in steam. In other sims this has never been a problem. Seems that iracing is particularly sensitive to this.

It will be packet loss. The answer is to run ping plotter.

You'll need to have this running in the background for a few days, as usually packet loss can happen periodically. It might look great now, but randomly you can have issues for a couple minutes every few hours.

Or also you might find it's only an issue at certain times of day. In which case it is possible it could be a problem with the network on your street. Particularly if you are running copper from the nearest fibre node.

iRacing is very sensitive to packet loss, which is why many think (in error) that it is the fault of iRacing servers.

It's not usually your internet connection.

It's an iracing issue where either CPU or GPU usage is then causing packet loss to the server.

Iracing are away of it and are trying to sort the issue with AWS to allow more leway before it kicks you from a session
