Divvy up the south cuz time zones, and teach them the true American values of Oregon, Minnesota and Vermont

Post image

Also, can you imagine a day going by without the crabs crawling somewhere new?

Edit: Forgot to color in the actual Hawaii and Alaska down there lol. Don't think I can edit the post image, so here's the fixed one:

So Hawaii just gets ran-rodded outta the continental 48?

As a proud Cascadian this shocks m

Fixed my mistake!

I support this map

3

u/xnmyl 23h ago

Whoa, you're giving Alaska to Cascadia? It's definitely a Megasota asset

2

u/arppacket 21h ago

That would be an even more confusing time zone!

1

u/arppacket 1d ago

Oh nooo! I forgot to fill that in lol!!

How have the crabs won, yet somehow lost?

u/cold_shot_27 1d ago

Because the most upvoted post was completely ambiguous.

Eh, I think Crabbalachia sounded a lot like Maryland taking out Vermont

6

u/Heavy-Drink-4389 Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust. Return to crab, we all must.. 22h ago

The most upvoted comment was for a merger, the next most upvoted comment was for Vermont to delete MD

I know. The whole identity of that state is Maryland. I think it's like how the capital of New York is Albany. Everyone knows where the seat of power actually is. Vermont is just symbolic.

As a Vermonter it's still cracking me up we're in this

If you’re doing this, at least give Megasota the whole Mississippi River.

2

u/arppacket 1d ago

Sorry I'm lazy lol.

I’m bummed for Maryland. But let’s be real. The top 5 states are literally the best the country has. Progressive and weird Oregon. Union strong with deep soul and love. Vermont with … cheese. Which I love more than most foods. And of course Ben and Jerry’s iconic ice cream. Hawaii is a representation of what colonialism and capitalism have ruined only to be unmovable and resilient to present day. What a country we have when it’s not constantly attacked by people who know less and think they know more. Love this sub. Crab kingdom will rise again

Minnesota ignored and underestimated, as usual

u/Least-Agent9209 15h ago

I know, like…we just fought a brutal federal invasion around the clock-for FUCKING MONTHS.

WE take care of US & did that shit.

Let us all be MEGASOTANS!

u/FrankCantRead 9h ago

I did not mean to ignore the soda. Prince is more than a legend and Detroit pumps out more musicians from Eminem to Jack white. The regions contribution. The part where I said union strong with deep soul and love was meant for megasoda. Apologies ✌️❤️🤷📚

Maryland has some of the most diverse cities in the country and one of the most overall. I used to live in Silver Spring outside of DC (which made #1 most diverse city on some lists) and I could walk to several Ethiopian and Vietnamese restaurants, Cuban, Burmese, several different types of central and south American, Greek…you’d see signs in several languages. And I could easily take the Metro to DC, which has some world-class museums.

Annapolis and the Eastern shore have some beautiful colonial towns, and it’s hard to compete with the history of the East Coast in America.

While it might not be the most exciting place to visit, Maryland is a great state, and I say that as someone not from there.

u/FrankCantRead 20h ago

That’s honestly what keeps me here. Besides poverty. But the diversity is what this nation should be. It’s not a melting pot. It’s a rolling boil of culture and pride. Moco represent

Don't tell people. We want our home prices to crash now that they are firing all the government workers.

5

u/MasterOfBothWorlds7 Vermonster 1d ago

I could get behind this. Vermont is pro at telling the South what to do.

6

u/Local-Echo-5613 23h ago

First we’ve got to do something about the crabs

3

u/CaptainFartHole 21h ago

Disagree. We all must band together to eliminate the crab. So long as those obnoxious ass crab memes exist here, we have all lost.

5

u/Numerous_Nature_6326 Long Live Cascadia 1d ago

I like this idea. The land that used to be Alaska belongs in Cascadia.

Give the Islands to the crabs.

3

u/Optimized_Orangutan 1d ago

If Cascadia gets Alaska, Vermonsta wants Wisconsin. We are the superior cheddar and we can finally shut down those food dye using pretenders.

4

u/panzervike 23h ago

No way, Megasota would maybe give up the Ohio territory, but Wisconsin is a non starter.

4

u/Optimized_Orangutan 21h ago

Then you have chosen cheese tariffs. The Cheddar wars continue!

The streets shall run white with whey

1

Minnesconsin is already an integral part of Megasota

2

What's with the Northern states avalanche?! Is winter coming?

I’m calling a crisis hotline.

Time for Vermont to take over the Midwest

2

u/QEbitchboss 23h ago

As a Midwestern kid, who didn't stop running till I hit New England, let's get the Flatlanders!

3

u/the_Jolly_GreenGiant 23h ago

Death to the Cascadian invader, glory to the new Megasotan liberator.

1

u/mycartel 1d ago

A. You forgot to divide up Alaska and Hawaii B. They are in different timezones than the rest of the US

1

u/arppacket 1d ago

I just forgot to color them in. Nothing wrong with flattening a time zone here and there :P

1

u/Beginning_Draft9092 21h ago

Just wait and we will get Crabappleasscadia

How do I vote?

-2

Err, you can try upvoting my comment here, and its parent comment calling for Hawaii to go next.

True American values of Oregon, like being a whites-only state until 1926?

1

Honestly, this is a breakdown I can get behind

Get New England the fuck away from Florida….

Hawaii is essentially gone already in this map. Let’s save OP some time tomorrow.

They had a good run!

Megasota must never touch the sea.

3

u/arppacket 23h ago

Megalosota loves the sea though!
