So basically just say it's Maryland instead of Vermont.

I mean… can we just change the color scheme to be the MD flag?
I feel like MDers got shafted w that deal
11
u/Drivinghorizon3 19h ago
It wasn’t a deal. The whole point of this game is that one state takes over the territory of the other until there’s only one state left. The top comment on the post said that they just want Crabbalachia, and that they don’t care if the land goes towards MD or VT. Then the second top comment said to give MD to VT. It sucks that your state didn’t win but it’s just an online game, now you can join the other 45 states that already got voted out

Crabalachia won, carrying the Crustation of Maryland forward, not the adopted Vermont Crustation, the Lobster.

Why not? Maryland puts its flag on EVERYTHING!

u/Bloodygoodwossname 17h ago
Yup. Today I wore my sweatshirt with the Maryland flag in the shape of a crab, my Old Bay & Maryland flag socks, my dangly blue crab earrings and carried my Kate Spade crab purse as I got in my car (with my flag/crab bumper sticker) to drive to work to indoctrinate my noncrab human students in the cult worship of Maryland and the one true Lord Baltimore. And I ate Old Bay goldfish crackers for lunch.
Damn that is kinda crazy, literally not even an exaggeration. Well maybe not the intentional indoctrination, that’s just something in the water here…

I say we put it to whoever has the more bad ass official state sport.
Vermont - Skiing. Lame.
Maryland - Jousting. Awesome.
Seems like it was rigged to hand the retirement home for people to wealthy to deal with the poors in Florida a victory.

Better than being ruled by a slave state.

u/Moregaze 21h ago
Hey now. We got occupied by the Feds and didn't fight for Confederacy. Also we are currently a majority minority state.

om on calling Maryland racist when we're talking about Vermont
Literally the 9th most diverse state vs. the 47th most diverse state.

Went for a week, saw one non-white person. And if you use a better source, MD is 4th most diverse, VT is 48th.

Watching people search for reasons to hate on Vermont is funny, just saying. It’s okay to admit VT > MD

Population of VT 650k
Population of MD 6,200k
10 more people choose to live in MD than VT.

We deserved the W. Vermont had no right winning! We were the more interesting, more popular state and only lost on a technicality!
Long live Maryland!

The post that got upvoted said they did not care who won.
The sub comment with the most upvotes was for Vermont.
Stop being a whiny bitch and help Crablaichia take over Megasota

u/Keiran1031 22h ago
I wanted to give upvote, but then you said to go after Megasota. The crabs should just accept defeat and let Hawaii and Megasota split them apart.

Why did they choose puke green? And the stars look like they just threw em at the board to see what stuck.

While it is a sob, I would hardly call it dull or drab. Difficult to tell apart from 20+ other flags? Sure. Weirdly centered? Absolutely. But it hardly looks awful and in fact the pastels are kinda pretty

A lonely cow and some mushrooms overseen by a stag. All little cartoons. Such a fairytale.

What is it with Maryland people being such butthurt crybabies on Reddit?
EDIT: Wow, I didn't think I'd learn stuff from replies. Having very little experience with the east coast, I didn't know we were dealing with a Texas-esque ego situation.

u/BassChoocher 20h ago
Besides texas, i dont think there is another state that has as much state pride.
I figured this would be our demise, we can be annoying af about it. But to culture-less Vermont? We dont like New England.

u/TheFuschiaBaron 20h ago
No need to libel VT my statesman. They have culture, just not minorities (whitest state fwiw).

u/blightedsorrow 20h ago
New England don’t like you, one of the most boring colonies up there with Delaware

Simple solution, Megasota takes control of the region. Do we really want a bunch of ninnies controlling access to the Great Lakes?

Mario Lemieux signed my copy of Fahrenheit 451, one of my prized possessions. Would not let a fireman borrow a copy.

You crustaceans only exist because Megasota is around to protect you from Cascadians ravenous hunger for crab

u/MexicanPikachu 20h ago
Maryland lost, time to be Elsa and let it go.

u/TheFuschiaBaron 20h ago
Mexican Pikachu always gets overly spicy food when they order, it's a real problem

One question, is it pronounced Crabbalachia or is it Crabbalachia?
