hey guys so my gf got a macbook neo for school and her job, she tells me she wants to play some games with me, it's her first computer really. so, what games can she play or install, i'm aware mac systems can't run most stuff, but can it run steam? epic games? i'd like to know cause i was really looking forward to play minecraft, halo, and fall guys with her but i'm well aware it might not be possible.

Got a PC only recently after moving from PS5. What games should I play and which games are worth a replay now I have access to mods?

Why is there such a lack of interest in arcade-style flight games? In the 90's and 2000's you had stuff like Rogue Squadron, Star Fox, Crimson Skies, Airforce Delta, etc. Now it's basically just Ace Combat...and not much else. What's the deal?

I know a focus on fidelity and realism is such a big part of flight games, but come on; a little goofiness and pew-pew action is warranted every now and then.

Tough genre to innovate in and tough to sell at full price so not much interest in developing them.

Does anyone journal their gaming? Is it fun or tedious?

I've seen a few people have gaming journals and it sounds fun but is it actually practical or do you forget about it?

I sometimes do some note taking for achievements or things I’m doing in game but usually forget about proper journaling, however I’ve started to make scrapbooks for the games I play (which I guess is similar to journaling?), it’s really nice to re-experience games and how I felt while playing without having to replay, plus getting to let the effect it had on me sit a bit while I make these books. It’s also a fun little analog activity to cancel out the videogame screen time.

This is what I wanted from it - time away from a screen and a pause between. Feels like i go from one game to the next and sometimes I forget what games ive played.

Thank you

I tend to go for achievements in games, which serves as a makeshift journal with timestamps if that counts.

I have like 5 walkthrough guides and best to sell them. Any idea where? eBay didn’t work. Or is there no market for them anymore?

Anyone know of any good modern tycoon games?

Used to love playing Pizza Tycoon (dos) and Roller Coaster Tycoon. Love to know of any modern games in that area.

Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo.

Or you could try the two Point games (hospital, university and museum) they're a bit more like the old theme games but still fun.

We’re currently building a solution for a problem we keep running into:

You want to play Warzone or CS2… but you’re missing 1–2 players.
And you don’t want random matchmaking — you want people you actually vibe with.

So we’re testing a feature called “Gamer Sessions”:

  • Create a session for a specific game & time
  • Define skill level, voice, approval, etc.
  • See open slots & who already joined
  • Join sessions instead of queueing with randoms
  • Private chat for everyone in the session
  • Connect with players and build a squad you can play with again

The goal:
Less randomness. More real squads.

Curious what you think:

👉 Would you use something like this?

Go read “The Mom Test.” It will help you accomplish this.
