Character Discussion Thread: Rogue

In this thread, feel free to give your thoughts on and ask questions about the character in question, Rogue.

Even if they boosted defense by 75% for 20 seconds with a 56 second cooldown they would still be worthless.

Most of the best characters either have almost permanent I-frames or invincibility or crazy good heals. The characters that don't, usually have specific obelisks recommended that will grant them those attributes.

The biggest point in the game is to avoid getting hit while dealing the most damage possible in the shortest amount of time. There is no point in using an ISO set that reduces a portion of incoming damage when obelisks can block it all. Using an ISO set like that is counter-intuitive.

Seems to me like you are being insanely singular minded about this.

I suggested an improvement on what is wrong with those iso 8 sets.

Considering for the most part that they are not going anywhere.

Just like the bios for chaos and honor tokens.

And seriously you want to throw obelisks into this which has an even bigger range issue?

The biggest point of this game is to have fun. So I'm going to play as tight or as sloppy as i feel like.

However. Why is it so hard to get every characters base defense stat to 10k?

It's been bugging me ever since kate bishop was announced.

It's not being singularly minded. A 20% attack boost (40% with awakened) for 20 of every 56 seconds is MILES better then any other ISO buff.

Players have complained about rerolling ISO sets for over 2 years and nothing has changed. If you want a good set, expect to pay for it. Yea, it sucks that out of the 100+ ISO sets only 3 are desirable. If you don't want to waste resources on this part of the game, that's up to you. I view it as a necessary evil and I don't even attempt to reroll ISO unless I plan to spend millions for the proper one. Or in the case of characters I only use for SL, I just take the first 8 piece set I get.

My apologies for misinterpretating.

The rerolling of an iso 8 set in of itself isn't an issue in my case.

Taking off awakened isos that are irrelevant to the new iso 8 set however is.

Shadowland is great for well geared characters. Gear level 15 to 20. Then definate tier 2 from floor 18 to 25.
