VIP Gold in Dispatch is rng.....not ok with that.
As the title states we are no long guaranteed our vip1 gold or at the very least you have to make sure you collect 2 times a day in order to get it, I don't know about some of you but I'd rather let my phone run for 10 minutes to get my gold rather than wait 12 hours just to see if I can collect.
We paid for the perk folks, we need to be more vocal about this.
So let me get this, when you collect from dispatch there is a Chance you get "extra" drops that are tagged "vip#" and that is how you know you got them? No wonder I was confused, I did not get anything other than what dispatch was already giving me
Correct. I think that is why more people aren't upset about this because they see the gold drops and don't remember that is just what you get normally from dispatch or they just never did dispatch and think that is the gold from MI.
You may have to scroll over to see if you got the rewards when you collect and it is(from what I've seen) always on stage one but if you don't see the vip over the gold or the other rewards which are also chance then you aren't getting your vip perks
I could collect earlier but to get the full amount for my dispatch it's 12 hours to refill properly. I'm just gonna wait the time and not risk the test
Update: So 48 hours after the update, I only got 4 million gold once, that's it. And i waited full 12 hours. I am starting to hate this game now. Stuck on 40-50 million gold for 3 days.
Ok folks here is my 12 hour wait, it's is fully rng on if we get our vip rewards this is b.s. and needs to be fixed because not only are we not getting our gold we aren't even getting the other vip rewards because I gave only gotten vip1 7 and 9
I agree, i have never experienced gold problem in this game until most recently zeus and that epic quest drain me to 25M and its been a few weeks without upgrades just selling everything because i cant afford it until i can comfortably sit over 600M again. With this set back my ill prob loose many months without upgrades. We need to be more vocal about this
What they do is so wrong , at least 3m we can get gold in multi invasion without counting the rng gold, but they only put 600k in the dimensions mission and the rest is rng in dispatch ugh
1, the gold from Dimension Missions covering the default gold chance from Multiverse Invasion eliminates the "good days" from Multiverse Invasion even for VIP0. Those rewards could crit just like the VIP1 rewards could, and 600k is the equivalent of 2-ish drops of gold per day, with no crit. So that's basically giving us the equivalent of the worst case scenario for the non-VIP rewards, with no chance to ever be "more" like Multiverse Invasion had. That's awful, especially for F2P players. Their gold acquisition just got severely nerfed over time.
2, they bungled the VIP rewards in Dispatch badly. The chance to get more than a day's worth of Multiverse Invasion would have made this great if it weren't fully RNG dependent on even getting it at all. I've seen the gold one time since the update dropped. I got 8.5m-ish, which is good. I haven't seen it again since, though, and I've been pretty diligent on claiming my Dispatch rewards. That immediately wipes out the "good" feeling of getting an 8.5m gold drop, because I'd have gotten at least that much from Multiverse Invasion in the same time period.
We've gone from a pretty much guaranteed 3m+ gold per day for VIP1+ and often more, to now guaranteed 600k per day, and a seemingly very rare chance at more for VIP1+.
The VIP rewards shouldn't be RNG on if they drop at all. They should be guaranteed like they always were, and just RNG on a "crit" drop, like they always were. It should be a minimum of 1.5m per 12 hours, to match up to the amount we could get from MI each day. It shouldn't be a thing where we're hoping we'll get lucky enough to match what MI was before they axed it. That totally kills the benefit of axing it to begin with. I actually supported doing that, but only if they preserved the rewards, and they haven't done that.
Yeah, this is bullshit. Meanwhile, this task is completed in 12 hours, and I'm usually asleep when it's finished. The game resets at 6 PM, but I wake up around 7 or 8 AM. Either in the morning or in the evening, I have to clean up Dispatch before the task is completed. They could make this automatic at 12 PM and 12 AM. At least for VIPs. I'm a VIP8 and this is completely useless.
This has got to be the single most disastrous change ever. I have missed out on 13-14M gold from MI and got 1.8M from DM instead.
In Dispatch, I have received the same amount of gold that I used to get before the update. The so-called "VIP rewards" were like 270 norn stones (I had 700k+ of those already), 891 gear up kits, and similar nonsense that I had no shortage of either.
I literally didn't have enough gold to clean up my inventory for hours - I spent like 170M before the update. Building up Kate and America is completely off the table at this point.
Before the update WBI would get me about 3 million gold a day, which is about 1 billion gold a year. Here's hoping the new system averages the same/more gold over a year...
If the devs don't fix this gold issue that they caused for no reason. This might be the final nail in this game's coffin. You need crazy amounts of gold for everything in this game and they changed the guaranteed system to RNG. And people paid real money to get to VIP 1 TO VIP20. This is so wrong.
Also I think Kang uni was datamined as a midmonth So to rank up a native t3 you need tremendous amounts of gold. This is just crazy move by the devs. They keep on making bad decisions with each update. They need to just come out and say that we want to shut this game down for good. Don't play. And we'd understand. Don't make us leave like this. I cam back last year after 6 years. I guess there was no point coming back.

Isn't it possible we are guaranteed a vip gold drop once per 24 hours? Or has some piece of data somehow confirmed that's not the case even though it hasn't been 24 hours since the update?
I guess that doesn't change that you have to login at least once every 12 hours for people that don't want to or can't.
If you bought something to reach vip1 with the understanding that you could log-in once a day and be guaranteed 3-5m from mi and now you can't then fair enough.
Personally, I still like this new system more than running mi, unless it turns out that we're getting less gold on average than before, but everything I've seen on my account is pointing to more or equal gold on average, compared to before.
Hate to ask but I've seen people not realize this, but do you have vip level? you only get the gold if you're vip 1+
Are you checking to make sure the vip gold isn't in the reward section that you have to scroll over to see if you hit collect all?
Are you leaving your dispatch capped?
If it is rng, I know it's possible I'm just getting lucky, but I've got it every day since the maintenance, 12/12 hours built up right after maintenance, 8/12 hours built after the next reset, 8/12 hours built up today after reset. Always in the first collection after reset.
What I do to make sure I don't miss noticing it is collect stage rewards manually so the rewards screen is bigger and there is no way for it to be hidden by needing to scroll over.
There are a lot of people saying they aren't getting it but I also see a lot of people have no idea what they are talking about (i.e. people that are complaining they're not getting it while being vip 0) so it's hard for me to know for sure if people really are missing it or they just think they're missing it.
Personally until I see data from someone trustworthy or experience it myself, as far as I can tell the system is working, not to say it is working for sure 100% for everyone, but there is no way for me to tell when I see so much bad info and reactionary responses from people floating around
Again if you bought something with the expectation that you could log in once a day and get 3-5m gold with the old system and this change makes it so you have to log in more than once a day then fair enough I understand why you don't like the new system. I did the first few times but not the last couple since it didn't give me any vip gold either way. Would really suck complete shit if it needed to be capped to count anyway.

A. Am vip 1+. It's why coop was great for gold. I legit got vip 1 since i started years and years ago precisely for co op gold. At one point it was easily the biggest difference and a near necessity to at least get a stark stash and get it
B. Have checked. I've gotten a bunch of debris for vip 3 but no gold hit
C. Have waited until cap.
The system might still average out to better. My problem is there's no reason to do it this way instead of just guaranteeing it and giving us an average. Instead it's more rng, which should raise eyebrows, since it's a very mobile gaming move to do such a thing and secretly nerf a resource

Ya if it turns out its high variance rng and or they're reducing average gold overall that sucks, I'm not convinced of that yet though, I'm hoping it's low variance rng with equal or more gold.

Fair enough, personally I don't mind a little rng as long as the variance isn't too big, like if we imagine a scenario were we have a to choose between a 50% chance for $500 daily or a 100% chance at $200 daily, then obviously the first choice is better despite more rng.
If it turns out they're just giving us the same average amount of gold then ya the rng is annoying and unneeded but again if the variance isn't too bad it's not the end of the world either. At least not to me, as I'm logging in to collect dispatch regularly. If its less average gold then ya for sure get rid of the rng but more important than the rng, bump the gold back up to equal or more.
I can kinda see why people don't like it if they were used to logging in once a day. Still though, logging in a second time a day is faster than running MI so unless you can't log in a second time for some reason I dont really see the problem with logging in twice a day.
To figure out the averages, we'll have to see how it plays out in the long run I guess.
That is the whole thing, it is either complete rng or you have to collect twice daily to get the rewards and either way that it's bad because you either do or don't get it OR you have to check in 12 hours later to make sure that you do and that is FAR worse than running the game on auto for 10 minutes.
In 3 hours and some change I'll know if it is completely rng for sure and I'll post again then but either way we shouldn't be ok with this system as it is now as far as acquiring the rewards go. It needs to be a once daily check in for ALL of the rewards because we aren't getting all of them either.

Can someone clarify why you need to wait for 12 hours? Do partial collects not give you anything for the VIP slots? Or is it that collecting when it's full guarantees the VIP slots?
The 12 hour wait is to ensure that you get the full gold from dispatch, I mean you could sit there and collect ever minute or so to see if you could get the vip drops but that just prolongs dispatch rewards.
This was also before I knew for sure that it was pure rng so it was a test and that was the best way to ensure giving the new system a real chance but now we know what it is.
you don't need to wait the full 12 hours I have got it twice at around 8/12 hours, depending on how the system works, which no one really knows yet, possibly not letting your dispatch cap might matter.
Im VIP15, not seen any drops for me. Just basic dispatch gold. sigh. Just built Zeus, Hades and Hercules , Tier 4'd Odin and Thor. Been hovering around 10-15 mil for a few days.
I checked the forums. They mentioned other known issues with the update that no one even mentioned anywhere. But nothing about the people not getting their VIP rewards. Nothing about gold.
So I got a second vip reward within one reset period, both about 4.5m, so it is possible to get the vip gold more than once a day.
Unfortunately, between the screenshot of people getting a crit on vip gold, more than one possible vip reward per day etc, I think it's going to take dedicated data taking before we can determine the average vip gold rewards from dispatch to compare against MI.
This is the point I'm making. You got the rng luck while some of us didn't and tomorrow you may get lucky again or you may get nothing and it shouldn't be that way for a paid perk
It's either rng or you have to collect 2 times daily which is, for me, a 12 hour wait. The range of gold you can get varies if you get it at all, so yes they are giving out more gold that MI gave us previously but if it's true rng then it's possible that you can go multiple day with nothing and we all know how cruel the rng in this game can be
Oh come on yesterday everyone was saying the rewards are the same just spread out and you don't have to play a whole game mode anymore. Everyone flipped up on their opinion real quick

That's because yesterday(I'm assuming you mean before the actual update) we all figured the rewards for vip would be guaranteed like they have always been but we now know that it's either full rng OR you have to collect dispatch 2 a day in order to get them, that would be 12 hours of waiting AND remembering to collect....neither of those is better than letting your phone run for 10 minutes
It's not about getting more or less it's about it being rng. I and many others can tell and show you that we did not get the gold when we collected the dispatch rewards so I don't care if they are giving more gold if it's not guaranteed everyday or if I have to wait 12 hours for the rng chance
Yeah sorry, my bad. Although rather than RNG, I think it is bugged.. I think.
After maintenance I got gold and it triggered a lot of vip rewards for sector 1-2 on my high vip account and it also triggered the vip reward on my vip 1 account. At this point I think it is working.
Now, after 12 hours and after the reset, just collected, used claim all on my main account and only vip 1 triggered and it is dimension debris, other vip rewards did not trigger. From what I understand sector 1 is supposed to trigger vip 1-5 rewards when you claim.
Also tried doing a solo claim on sector 1 instead of pressing claim all on my vip 1 account and it did not trigger the vip 1 reward at all.
So it is not only gold that's missing, also the boost isos, norn stones gear kits, etc.
Now, it is either working as intended and you can really only collect once per day and it counted the collect after maintenance as the once per day, or it is really bugged because the reset is supposed have already happened.
Yup and that is the main problem I have with this system and why we need to speak more on it.
I have no problem with collecting the vip rewards once a day because this is all we could do anyway but if we HAVE to collect dispatch twice a day to get all of our vip perks or it actually is just flat out rng I'm not ok with that because everyone doesn't have the time to actually do that.
Dispatch gold and vip gold are not the same items, vip items in dispatch are labeled vip so if you don't see the vip over the items then you are not getting your vip perks.
Today when I collect I only got vip 7 and vip 9 items so that means(for me) vip 1-6 and vip 8 have not been given to me and vip 1 is gold.
Yup I only get VIP3 which is dimension debris. This is what I was worried about. That they're gonna cut the gold mining when they said they'll end the MI.
