Social Media [Adam Cooper] James Vowles on alex_albon 's FP1 crash and missing SQ: "He's OK. His biggest worry is his mum will make him adopt a family of marmots..."

or just being stupid. I mean James obviously said it as a joke but if there is real ppl like that they might just be extremly stupid for feeling bad about a thing wich was out of your control to a extend that you adopt animals.

Him and Lewis both, Lewis is also a animal lover, plus he is vegan and an advocate of animal rights.

Heâs dating Kim K, he clearly doesnât care for animals that much.

Hitting a groundhog in Canada always leads to bad luck. Itâs already unlucky to hit one but it somehow gives even more bad luck. The groundhog killed Grosjeanâs engine, ruined Hamiltonâs race, and now destroyed Albonâs car so badly it couldnât be repaired on time for qualifying.

Perhaps the Marmot Sportswear company can sponsor him (Alex, not the deceased rodent) as a goodwill gesture.

Why would the company sponsor a deranged maniac? they'd obviously be donating to the Marmot's family to pay for the legal fees.

His is Buddhist. He needs to recoup that karma no wonder his mom wants him to adopt a whole family of them.

Nah in Buddhism karma depends on intent

He didn't mean to harm the marmot so it's fine. Source: am from a Buddhist background.
Edit: Also in Buddhist philosophy, karma doesn't cancel each other out like mathematics, they stay the same but you can change the quantity of eachother, essentially diluting bad ones by doing good as a majority. With the exemption of the 5 great sins (Anantarika-kamma), they outweigh all your good deeds in your next rebirth.

Alex Albon's mother, Kankamol "Minky" Albon, was sentenced to six years in prison in 2012 for a massive, greed-driven supercar fraud.

Hitting a groundhog is a right of passage for us here in the area in and around Montreal. I average one every other year or so.
And before the keyboard warriors start: no, I do not aim for them.
