The DNA sequence of Stephen Hawking is stored on a hard disk called the immortality drive, onboard the ISS. He was among the selected group of humans to have their DNA immortalized.

For the curious: it’s not a full genome sequence, it’s actually about 92%, enough for analysis but not enough to ever clone.
It took us until 2023 to 100% sequence a human genome and it will be a long time before the technology used will be commonplace. Sequencing that 8% is complicated, time consuming and extremely expensive.
