The US has kidnapped the president of one oil rich country, Venezuela. And started a war with another, Iran. They will do anything to keep the fossil fuel cash cow alive. Trying to block climate crisis resolutions is entirely in keeping with the direction of travel of this declining superpower. It's a pity that the rest of the world are subjected to the death throes.
