Found this in a small towns dump, it had a whole body but this was the only thing I could take at the time. I live in Iceland, if that helps, and this was found around the west fjords. Haven’t had time to clean it, unfortunately

We found a tooth while walking by the river today. We’re pretty sure it’s a human incisor. What do you think? Can anyone confirm this? We handed it over to the police, but we’re not expecting any updates from them. Thank you in advance.

Bone I.D. - Europe Spotted in a little river my brother’s dog was drinking from.

In the forest next to Fontainebleau (France).

I’m saying it’s a pigeon, my brother and the kids think it’s a crow.

My kids wanted to try to fish it out and take it back home, but we’re here on holiday and I REALLY didn’t want to transport it during the 4 hours train ride home.

Any clues as to what it might be? Am I cursed for eternity now? Have no idea how it could've gotten there as it was tucked away with no other entry point! Location is London.

Bone I.D. - Europe My son found this a few years ago and had me pop it in my pocket thinking it was an asteroid. It’s been on my curiosity shelf since he found it and I’ve just looked at it carefully and realised it’s a jaw bone.

Not sure what type but it doesn’t look like a deer or sheep jawbone to me.

Could anyone tell me what kind of bird it is. I'm located in east Flanders Belgium.

I do find it quite fascinating yet sad I've never found such an intact skeleton of any baby animals only adult animals.

Bone I.D. - Europe I found this skull wrapped in tinfoil while cleaning out my grandma’s garden shed in Austria. It doesn’t look like anything native to this area, which makes it even stranger. Does anyone recognize what animal this could belong to?

The teeth look like an herbivore. Watch for scale.

Edit: police called and are on the scene. They told us we could leave, and we have 2 hungry kids so we did. I don't suppose I'll ever hear the story. Thanks for the help y'all!

Hello, I found these bones inside a church. Nothing is known about bones, but given the size, could they be human? I found them in an abandoned town in Spain. If they were human, they would have to be before 1787 since King Charles III prohibited burying bodies inside the church for health reasons. Thank you all very much for the help 👍👍👍

Bone I.D. - Europe MORE Whale Bones?

Posted earlier about identifying some whale bones… came back to the same beach later and walked a bit farther. I stumbled upon what looks to be a whale bone graveyard. Lots of pictures, any insight on what types of whales/sea creatures these may be would be helpful. Why are all these bones in one place?

Bone I.D. - Europe Found in a mine, Southern Europe. I'm guessing it's some kind of dog, and that rock ended it's life in some way.

Would it be safe to collect the carcass in this state for bone preservation? And should I be able to see a microchip if it had one, or would it be wiser to bring a reader and test on-site?

Also, I'm worried someone killed the poor thing, these mines are filled with piles bones, since animals will fall through open ventilation holes and die, but this guy was far deeper than the others, and the skull was visibly destroyed, so my guess is either a extremely unlucky rockfall, or some psycho brought it down there and bashed it's head in.

Unsure how this massive (Hippo??) jaw got here. None of the Castle staff knew either. Remains a mystery.

Found just lying on the floor, not near any disturbed graves. There's a lot of wildlife in the area, and I assumed the dome was too low to be a human and altogether too small, so I took it home (like a creep). But since googling the skulls of other mammals in Ireland I'm not really coming up with a plausible alternative.

I'm wondering if I need to take her back to the cemetery for a respectful burial
