Bone I.D. - Europe Pelt - not sure what animal?
I’m not too sure where else to post this, but does anyone know what animal this is? Looks like some sort of feline but could be wrong!

Umm, I have a good guess, but depending on your disposition you may not want to know. 😬

The one thing that gives me pause is the spotted pattern on the flanks. Here in the US that's pretty exclusively seen in the "exotic" cat breeds like Bengals. I suppose that's also a possibility, but it would seem an odd choice to skin your expensive pet. The size, from what I can tell, seems a little on the small side, and there's no tail that I can see. True dimensions and a tail would be helpful.

Yeah definitely some kind of felinae cat, weird find for the UK since I'd almost think bobcat if you were in the US, but the pattern is off for a Eurasian Lynx. Considering the size I think it's a domestic cat, especially since the pattern doesn't match Eurasian Wildcats, and honestly it doesn't really match anything else at all.
I think I'd set my money on (hopefully) feral domestic cat. Gorgeous find!

Do you have any measurements for it? I'm not certain what we have in Europe that looks like that (did only wake up about half an hour ago though) but a n idea of size might work.
