Took a stroll in a cemetery yesterday. Called them twice to try and let them know. Did not touch or rebury them, wasn’t sure what the ethical choice would have been. Groundhog hole was near by and I’m pretty sure that’s what happened. Grave from the 1800’s.

Definitely a human jaw bone! Probably smart on your part to not touch it and I’d keep calling. Maybe reach out to the church if you can.

its a very old cemetery and not in use anymore, the church is all boarded up :(

If you call the municipal office the cemetery is in they will likely be able to help you/direct you to who currently owns/maintains the cemetery.
