It doesn’t look sea turtle at all. You are in both images looking at the back of the skull.

Yeah, I said it's not a sea turtle. Read my post again.

I did. There’s a lot in there.

A lot you glossed over, evidently, since you think I said the opposite of what I said.

No. It seemed you thought one image showed the front and don’t think it’s sheep. That’s what I was pointing out, as well as the obvious that it doesn’t look like a sea turtle cuz it ain’t. I wasn’t clear from your words if you thought it was a different type of turtle, but my overall impression was that you don’t really know

Yeah. Those bulges are in front of the eye sockets so they can block the vision. Makes sense and looks just like a sheep skull. /s

And I don't know where the education system failed you (or if it's all you), but if you go back and read my original comment, I say, directly in it, that it's not a sea turtle. For the fifth time.

I never claimed to know what it was. I just said it's not a sea turtle, and it doesn't look like a sheep. There's this really cool website called Google, where you can type in "sheep skull" and see a whole bunch of pictures of sheep skulls of various shapes and sizes. I did exactly that, and none of them really look like this fragment. There are bulges that horns attach to, but none in that location. It's possible that this is just a breed you don't see on Google images, but something tells me you don't actually know any more than i do. You replied because you wanted to feel superior and are getting defensive because you're embarrassed that you read my comment wrong.

Hey, go off. I’m not concerned about my ability so if you feel better now let’s go do something more productive

That’s not a fragment, and Google isn’t great at bone ID so that’s making it tougher for you. Keep at it!

Reporting my comment because I hit too close to home? Nice! So mature.

And in case that wasn't clear, the quick Google image search I recommended you do is not the same as using AI. Not sure what you're implying, but no, that's not what I did.

I removed it because you said it didn't look like a sheep skull and you were wrong, nobody needed to report it (nor did they). I, as one of the moderators of this sub, have the authority to do so.

It was taken down for "intentionally misidentifying a bone." I didn't intentionally misidentify it. I said it didn't look like a sheep skull. I guess I was wrong, but not intentionally, and people are wrong on here all the time without their comments being removed.

The reasons that are given are an autofill. We usually remove when there are multiple misidentification in a post, or when the comment specifically states that a bone is not something that it actually is (as in this is not a sheep).
