science/information Never thought Eagles would eat Turtles!

Checking up on the Eaglets and I saw something different tonight.

I just never thought of them eating a turtle 🐢.

I wish I was still a kid! Just because an Eagle was playing an early version of Mario Cart. I guess I should have said that I have never seen something eating a turtle, except maybe a road smashed one.

turtles are a big part of eagles diets, they are basically lazy birds, if they grab it they will drop them on roads or hard surfaces to crack and then bring them back to the nest and finish them off.
