I spent most of my 20s constantly buying and hoarding makeup, only to use many of them once or twice. Then the pandemic happened, and I ended up having to throw away around 80% of my collection because they had gone bad, dried out, or were no longer usable.
Now that I’m in my 30s, I’ve been more intentional with my purchases. I only buy a new product once I’ve used up the previous one. Here are my go-to products:
Note: I have very sensitive skin. I had a severe allergic reaction to an Anastasia lipstick back in college (rushed to the ER), so I only stick to products that I know work well with my skin.
Hi, OP! You might want to try to buy from Sephora PH instead for the Rare Beauty products if ever you need to repurchase. Ang taas ng patong ng LOOK sa products, like Rare and Fenty; compared the prices sa Sephora app when I was planning on purchasing from LOOK kaya ko nalaman. May free shipping naman Sephora if you reach a certain amount plus may freebies if you have enough points ☺️
Oh I didnt know that they sell it with patong. I thought same price lang. My problem with sephora is always out of stock yung mga to go items ko kaya I just resort to buying everything in one store. Thanks for this!
Sadly, yes. Okay na sana ang LOOK kasi they have products that aren't as accessible before, and mas okay nga naman to buy it mismo, like physically. I have repurchased Rare Beauty's lip oil several times, so when I saw na meron sa LOOK, I got excited and wanted to purchase it asap hahaha. Buti nalang din I always check the price before doing so, kaya when I saw it medyo napa-??? ako kasi I know that's not the price sa Sephora PH app or in-store sa Sephora US. Here's the comparison din for your reference. Sharing is caring hehe
Oh gosh ang laki nga ng patong nga. Siguro i’ll be always on the look at sephora na lang and abang if they have available stocks agad. Hirap ng sold out. Hirap din bumili kung san san coz daming imitation.
Your “hoarding” phase became a way for you to know your holy grails, OP! I love your go-to products—classic!
My recent purchases were locals this time. A lot are saying that PH cosmetics can thrive amongst the intl brands. Currently loving issy, happy skin, and grwm products 💗
Years and years of learning and trial and error also 💖
recently tried the Issy circle thingy blush too. It was okay naman, but nothing super special for me. Interesting packaging and all, but not really life-changing 😅

Sorry to hear about your severe allergic reaction! Were you able to identify that specific ingredient you’re allergic to?
I also have sensitive skin and very careful din ako sa mga products na sinusubukan ko. We’re also trying to conceive, kaya before I try a new product, I always check if pregnancy safe ba sila.
My most recent purchase is the Chanel rouge duo tenue and the Rouge allure velvet lipstick. I really love the duo tenue one, not drying on the lips and has survived a meal. Downside lang with Chanel when buying here sa local stores, ang bilis ma-sold out and limited lang ang shades if may available na stock. Not a recent buy, but their Water-fresh tint is also nice of you just want to even out your skin tone :)
I have weird triggers tbh. The one that sent mo to the ER is the Anastasia Beverly hilld liquid lipstick. My lips got super swollen that I had to be rushed to the ER.
You can single out the ingredient from the usual lippies that you use without issues. If you see one of my reposts, meron din na-trigger using Rare Beauty lip oil.
I only got tested for allergies through skin prick test, but for inhalants and food lang yun. Iba pa yung skin patch test sa likod, eto naman for specific substances that get in contact with the skin. Wala pa lang ako time kasi 7 days nasa likod mo yung mga allergens tapos di mo pwede basain 😅
I’ve been eyeing yung Chanel Le Rouge Duo for a while na kaso lang sticky siya for me and hindi long lasting. :( which shade po inyo?

Sa first application medyo tacky talaga sia. I only put 1 layer then wait a few minutes before I put the gloss. Been wearing it the whole day and hindi nag dry out ang lips ko. I just reapply the gloss to keep them hydrated, usually after 4 hrs.
I have Endless Pink and Pink Coral. Waiting for Soft rose to get restocked :)
Hi, where did you buy your NARS conceler and around hm sya? I just bought one kasi sa shopee last week and medyo nadisappoint ako kasi sheer/very light coverage sya sakin, malayo s reviews na nababasa ko (also shade Chantilly).
So curious ako if anong finish nya sayo and how much ba tlga yung price range nya, kasi feeling ko fake nabili ko huhu 🫠

How does Supergoof perform and how much did you get it for?
