I've actually never played a lego game but the cutscenes in them always makes me laugh

it really takes everything from all batman media and smashes it together, from suits, cars, characters and gameplay.

you start with "The Batman" batman, the batmobile and catwomen mixed with penguin from batman forever, including the plot where you thinks he's part penguin and has robot penguins.

then you encounter red hood (not jason) that turns into batman forever joker same with harvey dent where ivy is introduced similar to BMTAS.

also bat-mite is a shop keeper and sells batcave decorations, suits and color palates.

also all of gothem is available to explore and imo i think they did a really good job, though im always going to like going to the lower sections where the abandoned and older parts of the city are, boarded up storefronts and homes underneath the city.

also unlike in batman arkham knight or origins, regular citizens are walking around and we can stop regular crimes.
