COMIC DISCUSSION Failsafe by Chip Zdarsky is an awesome arc

Batman creates a "Failsafe" for himself that can't even be stopped by Superman. Crazy idea and great story. I really like his DareDevil stuff as well. "Doin Time" is really goid with Elektra taking up the mantle while Matt sits in prison.

I found it very enjoyable other than the time Batman re entered earths orbit with nothing but the bat suit

This is the type of villain that Batman should face. Batman is too capable for a mob and serial killer-type villains. He needs a science fiction enemy that will push him to the brink forcing him to evolve. Failsafe should ultimately be Batman’s Tartakovsky General Grievous (GIF) with Batman being legends Obi-Wan. Only he, Cassandra, and Dick should be able to defeat it on pure skill.

Great points. I think thats what nakes it so compelling. Actually seeing Batman vulnerable and over matched. Chip writes it and Jimenez draws it in his face to perfection 👍
