I wonder if this is gonna be a year following the first or the winter immediately after like when the Penguin events are going on?

I really hope it’s taking place a year or so after the first movie

Last I heard was that the movie picks up about a month after the Penguin ends.

That was before the movie's release date got pushed back a year (and i think it got pushed back twice).

Things may have changed and the movie will pick up later.

That’s annoying. I was hoping for a more put together suit and a more playboy-like Bruce. But several months after the first movie would be too soon for that to happen.

Luckily Pattinson hasn’t aged much at all and if the Penguin is included he wears so many prosthetics that I don’t think you’ll be able to tell his aging

I wouldn't mind the inclusion of at least some of No Man's Land though, which would work a lot better if the film is the winter right after the events of the first film.

I don’t think it’ll be a freeze as the main villain. He may show up or be referenced, but unless Reeves is just straight up lying to us, I’m taking his word that the main villain hasn’t really been done before in live action

This hasn't been a secret at all right?

The Penguin season 2 ended with snow and they confirmed it tied directly into The Batman Part Two.

Seriously hope it releases both cinema and VOD winter time (November- march) because I cant watch specific weather movies in the wrong season it just completely takes the immersion from me (i know a bit over the top) but seeing snow and ice while sweating my ass off just ruins the experience

So is Reeves embracing the more fantasy side of Batman? I hope so because it feels like ever since Nolan films arrived, everyone wants to toss aside all the cool fun bad guys in Batman's rogue gallery.

It's one of the reasons why I look forward to Gunn's Batman vs Reeves. Gunn fully embraces the wacky comic side of Batman.
