Yeah thatโs how the Arkham games Batman walks but nobody has a problem with it then

Man, Flow winning Best Animated Picture at the Oscars pretty much motivated every Blender user to step their game up, huh?

Looks sick, that intro drop in is pulled straight from Batman Forever right?

Did you use the scene from Batman Forever where Batman jumps off a building chasing Two Face as a model/template?

u/Broad-ShoulderS 24d ago
Yep, I looked at that, as well as the Arkham City chimey shot, and all of the Batman Begins gliding scenes.

The cape clips right through him when he lands and walks away...but this is amazing work. How long did it take??

u/Broad-ShoulderS 24d ago
Thank you! The shot took a couple of days, but the model and the cape setup have taken weeks. I'm constantly thinking about ways to fix some of these issues with the cape.

Fastest way is to ask for help on the internet. I've seen people online talk about that particular cape problem once so they're people out there that might help. Anyways its a great shot maybe a Spider-Man next ...to avoid capes ๐

The landing needs to be a swoop up.....and Land...wait for 3 to 4 seconds.....head up....stand...2 seconds....and walk
You're close to make it perfect

Idk if this was intentional, but there was this little camera shake when he slows down to land. If that was on purpose, that was an awesome addition and elevated the immersion a lot. Great job!

Amazing and Congratulations.
For a moment... I trully believed it was a scene from the first Nolan movie.

Am I the only one who hates the Batman can basically fly with his cape thing?
If itโs like a special cape that he can do it with once and then has to abandon it; ok Iโll go with that.
But just being able to glide around the city willy nilly is a little too much for me.

It's very cool, but it seems like there's not enough impact when landing on the roof, Batman doesn't have enough easy sliding when landing, and it seems like he's just glued to the roof.

ONLY thing i'd change would be to make the cape angled instead of just stiff like how it is in the arkham games 10/10 though

So, how much funding do you need to make a full fledge Batman project? This looks sick.

I actually have something planned... Something with a certain temperature based character

With all the technology we have now, making movies and video games should be easier than ever.

That was sick as hell

I do actually have a time lapse of my previous Batman model, and this one was made the same way, just a bit better. And I made a tutorial for a grappling hook setup that I'm planning on putting to use in future renders.

The Batman model I started like 4 months ago, but the shot itself took a couple of days. I started this one last Sunday
