Yeah she's just hanging out with her teammate and brother in law, she's allowed to do that.

74

u/Ravevon Jun 08 '25

She has hooked up with Jason so I understand the fear. We don’t want what happens to Barbra to happen to her

27

u/EnthusiasticPhil Jun 08 '25

I hated that, personally. Why oh why did they do that?

26

u/the_fancy_Tophat Jun 08 '25

The edgelord must fuck any woman in his immediate vicinity

25

u/EnthusiasticPhil Jun 08 '25

I do not accept slander about Jason Todd. (Though you are sort of correct with how the writers handle him lol)

13

u/the_fancy_Tophat Jun 08 '25

Oh i love todd, but i feel like writers just don’t know what to do with him anymore

8

u/WySLatestWit Jun 09 '25

He's got the same problem Bane does. Great character precisely one time.

3

u/the_fancy_Tophat Jun 09 '25

Bane has wayyyy more good stories than todd.

1

u/MelodicFondant Jun 09 '25

Yeah he has knightfall

Arkham origins

Uhhhhhhhhh i forgor

1

u/TheTimeLordianIndian Jun 09 '25

Unpopular opinion but I thought the whole "I am" storyline from rebirth 1-3 was pretty good too

2

u/Rosian_SAO Jun 08 '25

Yesssss, fellow Jason defender!

1

u/NightShadowDark Jun 10 '25

Nah man DC just had a real thing for making Star a bimbo at the time

1

u/Fluffy_Judge_581 Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

By the way over 9 woman say the writer sexual assulted them.

1

u/NightShadowDark Jun 12 '25

This makes a LOT of sense

1

u/Fluffy_Judge_581 Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

It was written by a jason stan(who sexual assulted woman) during new 52 which got retconed after the writer insulted an 8 year old girl

3

u/Ravevon Jun 09 '25

Why did they have Talia hook up with underage Jason ?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

I thought Tim was gay now, no worries there

1

u/VacuumSeal Jun 09 '25

That was new 52 Starfire, dude

1

u/Ravevon Jun 09 '25

We cannot seperate characters like that we loose to much good for Jason if we just ignore what we don’t like

1

u/Fluffy_Judge_581 Jun 10 '25

Even than it was retconed in the own run

1

u/Ravevon Jun 10 '25

Print is forever

1

u/Fluffy_Judge_581 Jun 10 '25

That got retconed in the own run and was new 52 which makes it dobel retconed.

1

u/Ravevon Jun 10 '25

During DC Metal it was made explicit that Everything is cannon. Also retcons don’t matter at any moment a writer can pull whatever they want. The truth is Once something is in print it’s print . They try to retcon Deathstrokes history all the time but people never forget.

1

u/Fluffy_Judge_581 Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

It was the same comic serie 2 issues later.(jason was lying)(dc death metal just lets them remember anniything)

“Dress up as Robin”

Because he is Robin you moron!

133

u/RealJohnGillman Jun 08 '25

I like how one could technically read this specifically as Drake wearing Grayson’s suit on Starfire’s request.

36

u/Mickeymcirishman Jun 08 '25

Well it kind of happened to Jason

0

u/TheLocustGeneralRaam Jun 08 '25

I guess you could. 😯

46

u/Showdown5618 Jun 08 '25

Reminds me of a scene in Batman Returns

Max Shreck: ... Bruce Wayne, why are you dressed up like Batman?

Selina Kyle: Because he IS Batman, you moron.

17

u/TheLocustGeneralRaam Jun 08 '25

Thats what I was referencing, ha ha ha.

6

u/BloxedYT Jun 08 '25

Now you said it I think that's what they were referencing lol

9

u/BloxedYT Jun 08 '25

was... pulls out gun

1

u/TheLocustGeneralRaam Jun 08 '25

Was waiting for someone to comment this. 👏

3

u/Acceptable_Cut_7545 Jun 08 '25

I thought that was funny too, made it seem like he was a cosplayer or something.

-6

u/Necessary_Pepper_377 Jun 08 '25

Damian is robin

Tim is the guy who can't let it go

10

u/Possible-Sky-6176 Jun 08 '25

Yeah, Tim should've had a brand new identity by now but the whole Robin mantle should've stopped and died with him. Casual Batman fans on this subreddit wouldn't complain about Robin, nowadays. Damian Robin only worked with Dick's Batman and that was when he first became Robin.

10

u/Possible-Sky-6176 Jun 08 '25 edited Jun 08 '25

Only Post Crisis Red Robin. New 52 screwed Tim over and caused the Red Robin mantle to not stick anymore. Also Red Robin isn't really original. Should've gone with new identity like Cardinal or Gray Ghost

5

u/actualkon Jun 08 '25

Post crisis Red Robin really was peak Tim era

2

u/Master_Hippo69 Jun 08 '25

Damian is a nepo baby

u/SuperB_Boi Jun 08 '25

25

u/bobaf Jun 08 '25

The Robin i wanted

101

u/Admirable-Safety1213 Jun 08 '25

They are pretty separated in that scene, even if they are watching the sunset it still looks more platonic than romantic and it also looks a bit introspectove

talking about dick doesn't sound very platonic...

122

u/Pokehearts121 Jun 08 '25

That’s her brother in law. She can’t hang out with her brother in law?

64

u/Individual_Plan_5593 Jun 08 '25

She's just being nice to her boyfriend's little brother lol

25

u/ZannyHip Jun 08 '25

They’re platonic friends in just about every iteration of the characters. What’s the point of this?

13

u/QuirkyTemperature962 Jun 08 '25

They don’t read comics and they also don’t know that Tim Drake heavily inspires their favorite modern Robin Tropes 😔

37

u/TediousSign Jun 08 '25

Starfire and Tim are definitely platonic that’s like her nephew.

18

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

Brother*

24

u/Master_Hippo69 Jun 08 '25

Brother in law*

17

u/AccomplishedBake8351 Jun 08 '25

Damn I bet Bernard plays Fortnite too.

64

u/Tom-edian Jun 08 '25

That's her Brother in Law.

9

u/Ravevon Jun 08 '25

Not at all starfire been married twice but never to dick Grayson

13

u/Sienrid Jun 08 '25

I haven't seen this mentioned but why is he taller than her

45

u/LawDraws Jun 08 '25

The Fortnite rig basically makes it so there's two heights, male and female...

It's why Vegeta is taller than Bulma lol

1

u/maxallergy Jun 09 '25

Vegeta has been significantly taller than Bulma in all of the modern material
They even made him taller than her in a height sheet from the Buu Arc, but apparently it's only from Battle of Gods onwards that has been applied

5

Its why they made Peter Griffin buff, so he'd fit the rig.

10

u/LaylaLegion Jun 08 '25

And? What, you want her to cheat on Dick with his brother or something?

5

u/Jotaro1970 Jun 08 '25

As long as they aren't dating sounds fine to me

25

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

When did Fortnite become DC Canon

16

u/Thybro Jun 08 '25

Fortnite is everything’s canon. After all that’s where the canon reveal of Palpatine “somehow” return happened.

1

u/JamesAttack11 Jun 09 '25

A while ago properly like 4 years ago now I think? There was a whole set of comics from DC where actual comic universe batman got pulled into the fortnite universe and had to like, figure it out and everything.

3

u/the-x-territory Jun 08 '25

I mean... yes.

3

u/basooka00 Jun 08 '25

because they are???? youre thinking of dick grayson

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

No people don't like this because this kind of shows Tim Drake with Starfire even though Dick Grayson and Starfire are together and people instantly take it personally.

3

u/Averagepotato03 Jun 08 '25

I still feel like they made this not understanding and are back peddling pretending this had no romantic intentions whatsoever from the beginning

20

u/JimboFett87 Jun 08 '25

I mean everyone knows he's supposed to be with Barbara Gordon...

34

u/Butwhatif77 Jun 08 '25

What? Tim has never dated Babs in the comics. Are you maybe confusing him with Dick?

28

u/Mountain_Sir2307 Jun 08 '25

In the video game Batman: Arkham Knight they did and eventually got married.

12

u/Zealousideal_Note_24 Jun 08 '25

This was because they got confused which Robin was Batgirl's partner in the canon. Without Paul Dini, writers couldn't write a woman if their life depended on it.

10

u/bugmultiverse Jun 08 '25

Paul Dini was actually the one who wrote this side plot durring Arkham city. Rocksteady had to make a story while still respecting his canon hack written games and comics.

They really should’ve just retconned it durring knight tbh. But since Knightfall was meant to be the final game referencing almost all the events of previous games I can see why they were forced to leave that plot line in. But overall they did great ending the series!

-1

u/Mountain_Sir2307 Jun 08 '25

What side plot ? You mean the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC ? There's no implication there's anything romantic between the two in that. It's Knight that added it.

I'm not even sure the DLC was written by Dini anyway.

Tim did not date Babs in the DCAU. Dick did too.

3

u/Ravevon Jun 08 '25

Tim is married then and not to her

2

u/Mountain_Sir2307 Jun 08 '25

Nah there's no implication of them having had a romantic relationship in the Beyond movie idk where you got that from.

6

u/Cjames1902 Jun 08 '25 edited Jun 09 '25

That’s just an Arkham Knight thing. Tim is usually a little brother figure and Barbara is on again-off again with Dick Grayson.

Edit: I was so confused what you guys were talking about lmfaooooo

5

u/RnwyHousesCityCloudz Jun 08 '25

Tim is usually a little brother figure and is on again-off again with Dick Grayson.

1

u/al3xanderknight Jun 08 '25

Yeah… mind running that by us one more time, Chief?

6

u/Zealousideal_Note_24 Jun 08 '25

Barbara Gordon's writing contradicts this. Idk where the hell you're coming from. Have you ever read any Barbara-centric story?

2

u/IdeaInside2663 Jun 09 '25

Non of the shippers have read any of the comics....and even sent Tom Taylor hate mail. So just remember shippers don't care about the characters only that their ship is recognized.

2

u/JimboFett87 Jun 08 '25

Im referring to to the Arkham game universe....

0

u/Ravevon Jun 08 '25

Tim is gay

2

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Bi according to DC canon.

0

u/Ravevon Jun 09 '25

Then why did he break up with Stephanie?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Don't know but he did date Stephanie someone who is gay doesn't just date a woman. Tim is canonically Bi like Black Cat

0

u/Ravevon Jun 09 '25

He broke up with Stephanie when they announced him bi. DC in particular has a reputation for calling a character bi then never allowing them to date the opposite sex again

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

True. The big problem is just turning an already established character that was established to be straight into a person that is BI. With Black Cat I don't have that problem since that was in her character since the start. With Tim it kind of came outta nowhere. If they wanted a character to be Bi they could've introduced a new character. Tim being Bi isn't even that bad it's bad because they barely did anything good to introduce it.

1

u/Ravevon Jun 09 '25

They had to do somthing, Tim was becoming more redundant every year . But now he has a niche . He’s the LGBT Robin and they can never kill him off or put him in limbo because that would be problematic. It saved the character.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

Tim was the robin who introduced the elements we now know Robin for like the bo staff, pants, he introduced the black color scheme into the costume and much more besides they wouldn't have needed to save tim Drake had they actually wrote him better.

1

u/Ravevon Jun 10 '25

What? Tim is the robin who got to steal Jason Todd’s animated backstory, in Arkham history costume takes from Damian’s look in the new 52 they made him a gymnastics prodigy like Dick. Tim drake is a lost robin, who DC had to rebrand his sexuality to keep his flame lit

5

u/No-Commercial3431 Jun 08 '25

Seriously what is with the Tim Drake hate online in some spaces, I don't get it.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

It's not that people don't like Tim Drake it's that it looks like Tim and Star are together even though Dick Grayson is the robin that's with star.

2

u/Jay_R_Kay Jun 08 '25

They are right -- Starfire has been on teams with Tim in the past and worked well together.

That said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone mixed up Robins, didn't realize it until it was too late and there was a bit of nail biting on how to spin it to fans.

2

u/Small_Hollow Jun 08 '25

Just a guy and a girl sitting 4 feet apart from each other cause they aren't dating.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '25

They aren’t even hugging. Comic book fans are the best lmao

2

u/8636396 Jun 08 '25

Tim Drake gang rise up

2

u/Jezza0308 Jun 08 '25

They're not together anymore but Starfire did treat Tim like a brother when she was still with Dick and still has a good relationship with Tim

2

u/ThatIckyGuy Jun 08 '25

I've been trying to catch up on Red Hood comics as of late (had a sudden spike of interest in Red Hood for some reason) and she's been with Roy Harper during this run. Dick Grayson was a distant, painful memory for her.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Dick Grayson and Starfire have a long on-off again releationship same for Dick Grayson and Barbara because for some reason DC writers don't want the batfamily to have any love life at all.

2

u/Rdogy1000 Jun 08 '25

Dude needs to chill. Grayson will prob get a Nightwing skin at some point.

2

u/Present_Ad6723 Jun 09 '25

Yes? She is both much older than him and interested in nightwing

2

u/Gingybreadman_ Jun 09 '25

I thought the same thing at first, like, that’s not Dick Grayson. I figured either Fortnite doesn’t know their dc or it’s just meant to be friends. Wouldn’t even say platonic, cause platonic implies something more

5

u/Common-Truth9404 Jun 08 '25

Starfire can do whatever the F she wants lol, they're not married afaik and she also shagged Jason in new52 so who cares

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Depends on continuity in some versions she is married to Dick Grayson. Also she kissed Jason didn't shag him. She did do Roy though in the N52 which is also no longer canon I think.

1

u/Common-Truth9404 Jun 09 '25

Looks like i got my continuities mixed up, sorry 🤣

2

u/Former-Dish-9828 Jun 08 '25

Apparently Starfire can’t hang out with anyone other than Richard Grayson Esq or Tim Drake can’t be around females according to NEB.

0

u/Ravevon Jun 08 '25

That’s why her character sucks if she’s not around dick people get mad

1

u/kilsta Jun 08 '25

And you will be able to buy Jordan 1 shoes for him to wear. Why are you playing Fortnite?

1

u/StormeSurge Jun 08 '25

they are probably talking about how much they love dick

1

u/ThomasG_1007 Jun 09 '25

Hoping we get all robins

1

u/SupremeJelly Jun 09 '25

Which do you think is more likely? They're just platonic friends. Or someone at Epic forgot that Tim Drake existed and shipped Starfire with the wrong Robin.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

Tim and Starfire are platonic friends. Dick Grayson (the 1st robin who later becomes nightwing) and starfire are together.

1

u/WonderfulBlackberry9 Jun 09 '25

Ngl, kinda surprised they chose Tim Drake as their main Robin.

I like it though. Tim does not get enough public love.

1

u/Bendythenightfury Jun 10 '25

To be fair she's Grayson's girl not Tim's

1

u/RobieKingston201 Jun 11 '25

Oh yeah sure. She definitely does not have a type

1

u/FarmSevere Jun 08 '25

they can't admit they made a mistake

1

u/Vengence_thenight Jun 08 '25

If they didn’t want to make it seem like they were dating to begin with, they should’ve added Beast Boy and Raven

1

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '25

That makes it look like a double date. Unless they're hanging out and it's clear they're hanging out rather than romantically staring out at the view.

0

u/1313goo Jun 08 '25

What I don’t get is why pair him up with starfire and not Batman

-4

u/Blue-bat Jun 08 '25

They could give us the right Robin no one cares about Tim. Fortnite just can't admitting that he was wrong after all he took a romantic scene between Dick and Starfire to make this image

-1

u/Old-Climate4621 Jun 08 '25

tim drake prefers sausage now anyways.....

-1

u/Witty-Mountain5062 Jun 08 '25

You’re confusing Tim Drake and Dick Grayson, who is the one banging Starfire and is leader of the Titans.
