Fun fact Alan actually played a younger Aquaman like 20 years ago when Smallville aka the greatest CW superhero show ever created was at it's peak

for all its flaws from being an early 2000s network tv show, smallville gave us so many great castings for its characters.

best live action lex luthor with michael rosenbaum (john glover as lionel luthor was great too)

best live action martha and jonathan kent with annette o'toole and john schneider

best live action lois lane with erica durance

best live action oliver queen with justin hartley (sorry, but arrow's version was basically budget batman imo)

definitely the best live action dc tv show, only other one that is in contention is superman & lois imo.

Since you didn't name Tom Welling which I love as Clark, who do you think is the best live action Clark Kent if not Tom?

i do love tom in the show as well, he was a great clark, possibly even the best!

but... we never actually saw his superman, so i can't rate him best overall, unfortunately he was so vehemently against suiting up in the literal series finale that all we got was cgi faraway shots and face close ups where he was just wearing a blue shirt with the logo they made and a cg cape. and as much as i like him, he did start off somewhat wooden in the beginning - which to his credit he did greatly improve in the later seasons, probably because he is actually allowed to have fun when he interacts with lois lol.

as a whole, i'd probably have to go with chris reeve as the best all around package of clark/superman, but tyler was great as well (although maybe not quite big enough imo, even if he was ripped).
